the JH-7A is a good CAS platform, specially since MLUs of that era (Mid 90s, meaning Tape 1.1M) don't have access to Laser Guided munition. the JH-7 is still limited compared to the MLU but I'm guessing in the future we can get newer variants of both with more ordinance. in short, the MLU is harder to use but more effective, the JH-7A is easier to use (specially because of the Pods and LGBs) but is kinda limited. in the end is preference that matters.
@@Jason-jb1vs like i said, it's a matter of preference. i have played both MLU and JH-7A, at least i gave some fundamental when it comes to why i still think the MLU is superior. it's also a better platform when it comes to flight performance. Yes, i do think the GBUs are a great plus when it comes to the JH-7A, but when it comes to potential kills and impact of a game the MLU is superior, since you can get almost double the kills than the JH-7A if you're either smart or it goes in your favour. like the guy above said, Mavericks can be a bit inconsistent at times specially when it comes to Dusk or Fog/Mist environments. i ain't saying this because i don't like one or the other. both are more than capable CAS options and an individual can have a preference (even tho that's not tolerated by the WT community most of the time). but in my honest gameplay experience, the MLU is superior.

depends on if you prefer mavericks over gbus. personally mavericks are super inconsistent for me and gbus are almost always a consistent kill
