I’ve had these for years and they work great. Truly. They last all night long and last from year to year- even stored in my hot summer Arizona garage all year.
Thanks for sharing your experience! We’re so glad to hear they’ve withstood the Arizona heat and are still going strong year after year. They’re definitely built to last!
Now THAT is a sales pitch!!!! Being in the middle of Texas as I am, standing up to the heat of storage is a big plus… I only have so much room in my office closet that isn’t taken up by skeletons!
I see other folks are saying what a lot of us are feeling: where have these been all my life!!! There are so many extension cords running amok across my yard and driveway, and the lights still aren't exactly what I need for each unique scene anyway. I ordered them before the video was over. Thank you!!!
Same here :-) …. Few mins in, ordered and on the way. Was wondering what to go about lighting, and was going to work out cable runs and stuff this weekend, now I don’t , pheeeeew :-)
I've been delaying beefing up my light setup because I really didn't want to figure out all the wiring, these would make it so much easier. Thanks for sharing, love all your tips and tutorials!
How do these compare to the Novostella floods? I know they aren't solar but I used them to flood my display and they work great. If I were to replace them with solar, they'd need to be comparable in brightness. The lack of extensions would be a definite plus.
Oh how great these would work for me. Being a renter I’m limited on running extension cords and I also like the customization which I could use for different holidays! Something fun I could set up with my Son
As someone who has been using solar units as hyper-flexible accent solutions for years, I had NO idea that they had come this far. This was great...thanks for sharing!
I have the non bluetooth version of these and they are working so well! Be sure to charge them fully for a couple days before turning them on for a full night run. I love that even the non blue tooth version has just good strong colors for any season/need. I can use the purple and green for halloween, and I can use rhe white, red, and green at christmas. ❤
That's awesome! It’s great to hear that you've found them versatile for both Halloween and Christmas. The Bluetooth version offers even more customization, so it might be something to try out in the future if you’re looking for more control! 🌕🎄🎃
I have a few solar lights and they work great, the only problem I had once was a few cloudy days and it didn't get a good charge, and they died before our haunt closed. Now I place them in areas that aren't critical. I definitely will get some of these and play with them. Thanks
I am excited... these will be great for both my Halloween and Yuletown setups!!!!!!!!!!!! We do not have power at out farm gate and we do a HUGE setup with solar only....
Being that my front yard over 150 yards long, these things have been a life saver and what I use for all of my mid yard/one off props that isn't in the standard row of daisy chained cords
Thank you for looking into this, they're much better than my 2 dollar solar spotlights with purple and green cellophane 🙂 Definitely going to look into investing in them for next year 😎
Must have lights for sure, just added to my next year's list of props to have. Oh, add some low-lying fog to the cemetery and BAM....ok I am getting excited for next year already, this year is already planned out and not even up yet and I'm thinking about next year already...lol.
Impressive brightness for solar powered lights! And the possibilities to modify the lights makes them really versatile. I wonder if it’s possible to also program lightning flickering
they are better than the basic items but WLED again crushes these. I'm amazed more companies are not just embracing the fact we put all the old stuff out to pasture
That's is really cool and like everyone said, no extension cords to run. So it comes toa bout 20 bucks a light, not including tax. That's not bad at all!!
I bought 4 outdoor 12 volt RGB lights for my display and I sort of wish I bought these instead. I may buy 2 but I honestly don’t think I need any more lighting. Those are pretty cool.
Thanks for showing these off. I'm curious how true to a spot light they actually are compared to those LED floodlights you used in the past? I'm trying to to back light a tree in my yard but just have the flood lights and they don't really give a nice back light edge detail, wondering how these would perform.
They’re closer to a flood than a spot, but I think that’s how a lot of people are lighting their haunts. Spots are a lot less common in the average display.
I really dig the features and love the lack of cables but how well do they charge in indirect sunlight? I've been looking for something to do the exact same color fade effect you used them for.
@@VanOaksProps #facts lol. I was more thinking in terms of if one was put behind a tombstone or a bush where it may be shadowed all day. Some panels need direct light to power, some can if it's just bright enough.
I have ONE outlet on the front of my house that runs everything, and I just had an electrician out to repair it because it went pfft when I went to turn the first three lights on last week!! 😂
I bought them and they’re not as bright as I’d like but they work. Looks like the AiDot app won’t let you set them up for automatic on and off since they’re solar. Bummer! I do recommend making your own presets as the Halloween ones don’t really feel like Halloween. Build quality seems solid on them and can’t wait to use them for Xmas.
My past solar lights died over time.., I'm guessing because they only get taken out for 30 days of the year and it kills the battery to be left in a dark box, losing charge in the off months. Would like to know your review of these after a few years of use.
A year ago I would have jumped on these However I recently pulled out a smart flood light (different vendor) and I couldn’t connect to it on my new iPhone 15 So I hard reset it and thought that may help… nope perhaps it slipped an electron? So I grabbed another and it did the same even after a hard reset it would not connect to the app So I grabbed my previous iPhone 7(yes it took a long time to upgrade) and it would not connect via the app either The app had lost support for iOS a few versions back So now I have a bag full of paper weights Hate to say it but going to lights with remotes… Great video though! I’m sure lots of people will use these without problems they look cool! It seems the

I just bought 2 small solar lights to try out this year, but these look next level with the programs! Super cool
Turning 18 on halloween. These lights would step up my halloween display/party to the next level. Love y'all!
I would love to have a set of these lights around my house for Halloween and Christmas. It definitely would be an upgrade from what I have now.
Always looking for new solar lights. These look good.
After years of building or buying all the lights you recommend, it’s very cool to have you putting your trust behind some solar lights!
Very cool lighting, I can see how that would work great for a haunt or any holiday.
You sold me on these spot lights for the holidays! I ordered a 6-pack and a 4-pack from your link! Thanks for introducing these to us.
I was just watching your moving props video, you have some great ideas and really show your work. Thank you for your love of the hunt
Absolutely GORGEOUS! This would be so ideal to experiment with! Thanks for the opportunity Mr VanOaks!
I've been delaying beefing up my light setup because I really didn't want to figure out all the wiring, these would make it so much easier. Thanks for sharing, love all your tips and tutorials!
These look amazing. How amazing technology is these days for fun ideas for holidays.
Very cool! With the customization, could do multi-seasonal duty for events and other holidays over the year.
Exactly!
Wow those look great for solar lights. PLUS smart lights too!
These are really a great solution for a space that doesn't have electrical access! Thanks for making the recommendation!
Pretty sweet solar spotlights!

Love all your videos. I learn so much
Would love these for our Halloween display!
These are a game changer! I’m going to add a set to my basket over at Amazon. 👍🏼
These look amazing! This would make my setup so much easier.
Fantastic! I really want to try those out in our haunt and other holidays!

Great review, they look incredible!

Me either

Awesome video, as always
Looking good. Always like blue-tooth lights
Oh my word!! These would be a game changer!!!
The lights 😍
Oooo! Where have these been all my (haunted) life?
They've been hiding in the shadows, waiting for the perfect spooky setup! 👻🎃Glad they’ve found their way to you!

I have 12 of these in my setup. They work great. But I just have the standard ones, never knew about smart ones. That's cool
Being that my front yard over 150 yards long, these things have been a life saver and what I use for all of my mid yard/one off props that isn't in the standard row of daisy chained cords
I have several solar powered lights in my yard and they're great! On Halloween day I just make sure they all get plenty of sun.
Wow! Very cool, thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
Wow, would love to have a couple or three of those.... sweet!
I'd love to see you make a PumpkinRot style scarecrow.
Thank you for looking into this, they're much better than my 2 dollar solar spotlights with purple and green cellophane 🙂 Definitely going to look into investing in them for next year 😎
These lighrs look amazing. What a great way to get rid of the extension cords
Wow! These look super promising. Need to get my hands on some ASAP!
Solar lights would be so awesome in my haunt. I've been wanting to up my game for years

Those are neat lights. I get zero trick or treaters but I still looked them up
Pretty great design.
Awesome lights! Definitely getting a set of these. Sorry I missed the premiere, though :-/
It was my mistake. I accidentally set it for pm instead of am and screwed it all up.
Okay….you sold me on those. I just ordered them. Now I have to figure out how to hide them from my wife…..😅
Haha, you’re in for a treat! 😄 Maybe surprise her with an epic light display she can’t resist! Let us know how it turns out.
Oh those are neat..
I seriously did not even finish the video before I purchased a 6 pack, but honestly, I wouldn't turn down a second set!
Congrats! You were selected!!
Impressive brightness for solar powered lights! And the possibilities to modify the lights makes them really versatile. I wonder if it’s possible to also program lightning flickering
There's a lightning setting in their app. I actually mention/show it in the video.
@@VanOaksProps I must have missed that. Another reason to watch your video again 👍
they are better than the basic items but WLED again crushes these. I'm amazed more companies are not just embracing the fact we put all the old stuff out to pasture
Do I need more lights? Nope. Will I be buying more lights now? YUP!
I ordered two of these at your suggestion... coming tomorrow. One will light a skellie posed on my roof. Not sure of the other.
Alright, im sold, ordered!

I usually pay about $20 a light. Hope they have black Friday sale...
There's a 30% off coupon right now.
I just showed these to my husband who said, “do we really need more Halloween lights?”, to which I replied, “happy wife, happy life”. 😂
These could be good. I don't know if we get enough sun here at Halloween to charge them though!
Would love to be considered for these!

I don't know that I'll ever know. There's no such thing in Los Angeles. LOL

I have several of these for my graveyard and would love more to light my tombstones.
I use only solar lights because I worry to much about overloading my circuits

Check in the automations section. That should be where you can set the on/off schedule.
😅 thank you, I’ll look again

How do you store all those grave stones? That light is actually really good!
They get stacked on upper shelves in the garage
Can you take them off the ground spear?
Yep
The ones of these I've bought tend to start fading at about 9pm and are all dead by 10:30. Dunno if I just got a batch with bad panels or what...
Possibly. That wasn’t my experience at all.

That sucks. But it’s definitely something to consider, especially if you’re switching over your entire setup.
My real question is how long do they last and how much charging do they need. My yard is pretty shady in the fall.
I got at least 9 hours on high power.
I would love these for my graveyard
It's a whole new World, isn't it. Also, looks like Wall-e. I know I'm not the only one who sees this.
$125 for six isn’t bad a price either!
Anyone know why this fired off at midnight?
Because I goofed.
@@VanOaksProps So, we were imparted with knowledge 12 hours earlier. I am ok with that ! 🙂
@@VanOaksProps who you trying to fool? That’s why we’re here van oaks don’t goof ☝️ 🤭😆 ✌️🤙
Anyone have an idea of how many lumens these produce? They could be a game changer for creating a walk-through yard display.
@marksands6380 I saw another YT review by Maher's world channel and he says that they are 800 lumens. That would be equivalent to a 60w bulb.
I think these leak too much light. Other than that; great innovation!
Solar powered Haunt lights... Great Idea! Please enter me in the giveaway for a set of these. Thanks.
Win lights......well the would be en lightning
