Also in the white horse, what is the really obnoxiously sounding instrument that sounds like it’s out of Aladdin. I don’t know how to explain it but it sounds really cool, I don’t know if it’s actually an instrument or just like a recording the band plays with.
Amazing! Totally thrilling and enthralling. (I only wish my band could handle this) Maybe one day.....the transition from the fast to slow part just had me stare up to the sky ..... The parallel 5th's with that haunting medley and harmony's OMG.... Yes the brass with their "Hindemith" statement. I live for those moments! Just wonderful.
my college has this thing for band students of any age to try out and make a band, (all you really had to do is play a note and you’d make it into a band) but i played through the whole try out and ended up in the top band with high grad students and juniors and seniors ( i just finished my freshman year in highschool) and we got to play this peice and put it together in a week, it was the funnest thing i’ve ever played yet probably the hardest thing i’ve ever played , it was so much fun tho and such an experience
I just recently found this through santa the barbarian while I was showing some family because I played both of them this year and I've been obsessed ever since I've had to have played it (Not on a instrument lol) over 20 times and I'm still as awestruck as ever.
Just listened to the ASU Band Camp Gold Band play this and it was amazing! My little sister is following in my footsteps playing the alto sax 😄 I remember playing Adrenaline Engine by Standridge when I was in high school, wish I’d gotten the chance to play this piece.
I was at Best of the West at Colorado Mesa University when this piece was debuted. I've been looking for a recording of it since and just found this. What a beautiful piece!
This was one of my favourite pieces I ever played in band. I was a percussionist running between 5 or 6 different instruments, and it was so much fun.
i continue to come back to this piece, it wont let me go ;-;
This would be a really cool boss soundtrack in game about fighting the 4 horsemen
Yea like in a game i think called Darksider that actually has them as bosses either that or Darksider II
This piece has to be one of my all time favorites, amazing work!
Thank you!
Omg how did I just discover this, this is your best piece what, I’m in disbelief.
