Wow, the MIL sending an impersonator must have been incredibly stupid. What did she expect to happen? She knew that OP was a cop, did she honestly think that OP would fall for that?
Being a cop, I am surprised that OP did not answer the door in full uniform with hand resting on their gun and radio on their shoulder ..... "Can I help your sir? Show me your shield! No? Oh, the stories I could add! I have a different MIL, but she is the same MIL. The night I met her, she seemed wonderful. The next night when my boyfriend (now husband) came to pick me up, he was pensive, to say the least. Seems his mother told him about all my wonderful wedding plans that I had made for the 2 of us. Say what? We had only been dating a few weeks and that subject hadn't even come up in thoughts yet! Fast forward a year to when we DID get engaged. She told everybody she knew that it was only because I was pregnant (which I wasn't). Fast forward another year, and she tried to completely take over our wedding and reception. Fast forward another 6 months when we announced we were going to have a baby, and she told everybody she knew that I was lying about being pregnant so that he wouldn't leave me. Fast forward a few more years... I had a miscarriage, and it took some time to get past it. But we decided, when our first child was 5, that would have another baby. When we found out I was pregnant he called and told his mom, who then declared that there was no way we could afford a second baby and that I should have an abortion. Folks, this is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to what she over the course of our relationship. But we have stayed the course: this year was our 27th anniversary and we have 4 well grounded children.
Holy crap today's stories were of the charts crazy. I feel so bad for OP in the second story for loosing the sweater her grandmother made. They should have definitely called the cops on her entitled mother-in-law.
I would have my MIL arrested for theft. Who donates a hand knit sweater? I would have been in tears. No contact is one thing, and not getting a restraining order is another. I would have also gotten a restraining order against the MIL to make sure there would be harsh consequences if she tried to set foot near me and my fiance.
I'd suggest calling the charities with donation bins in the area to be on the lookout for the stolen property. I can't imagine they'd want any legal trouble from receiving hot items. If it were me, I'd probably tell them they can have everything else if they just give my heirloom sweater back.
@@og_3rd_st_saint_gat I'd ponder for awhile, ask good friends for opinions, then get some revenge but nothing that would put me in the cells! I didn't negate anything anyone said!!
"I wouldn't have done it if I knew you were a real cop" sooo, you admit you only do crime when you think you can get away with it? Cool, for sure not letting you go now.
First story: how would I react? Given OP was pretending to sleep, I would "wake up" screaming Stranger Danger! Second Story: if she "donated" everything, then she can help the cops find what donation bin she visited... As that is grounds of calling the cops. Third Story: I am shocked such people exists irl. Fourth Story: good. He shouldn't have accepted to impersonate a cop in the first place. Also, MIL should be in trouble too Fifth story: dunno if Uncle is trying not to be a black sheep, but that is messed up
That third story is just crazy and it is completely illegal to impersonate a police officer in the USA also. Rhat guy is lucky he only got arrested and the mil needs to be arrested also for conspiracy.
Second story: That would be my second call to OP's mom: "Hey mom. Do you still have the receipts for the stuff you put on our porch? Yeah, Mother-in-law took it away and claims she put in in donation bins, but we can't find a single thing. And we have security footage as evidence that she stole all of it. Yes, we already reported her and we plan on suing her."
I am so, so sad when I hear about these awful mothers. I loved my parents. I was with my Mum when she died. Very peaceful, and miss her so much. Big hugs to anyone who had to go through these awful situations.
I got stabbed in the hand with a fork by my sister, because I wouldn't let her change the channel on the TV away from the one hour long show, that I'd been watching for 45 minutes, when she hadn't even been home.
Who in their right mind chooses a wedding anniversary THREE MONTHS off from the actual anniversary date over someone's wedding? Clearly anyone who would choose the fake anniversary over the real wedding don't want to be in the real bride and groom's lives.

Yes, its a good idea to send her back to her mom.” I swear, courts will be insanely stupid and for some reason think that kids always need a mother figure, even when in this case, the mom tried to get the kid pregnant. WTF is wrong with staying with her dad?
That fourth story is completely believable because I have family that is very similar to them but who would do that when a wedding is such an important event in a couples lives and its not like anniversaries don't happen every year from then on skip the anniversary which is 5 months early and go to the wedding instead. I hope OP had a good wedding with out all the party poopers not being there.
Former flight attendant here. Any sign of aggression towards another passenger can result in a fine from the FAA and a spot on the no fly list. It is not acceptable.
I am a 83 yo female in the USA. Your show helps me get thru the day. Can’t read for long ( headaches) so your show helps very much.Thank you so very much and may you always be blessed.
I’ve been a flight attendant for almost 29yrs and I’m so glad the attendant handled the situation the way she did. You can’t give ‘Karens’ like that even an inch because they will take a mile every time. ✈️ ✈️
For the first story, I would've probably tried to keep pretending to sleep, while also probably trying to not smile (despite them hitting me). There'd also be a possibility that I'd pretend to be dead or unconscious (caused by the person), like absolutely unresponsive to them. And maybe when a flight attendant comes to check on me, I'd wake up and pretend that I'm just a deep sleeper.
I would go on social media with the wedding certificate of my parents if they pulled something like that and say they are lying to you look at their anniversary date.
The MIL should’ve been told “good luck trying to see your new grandchild, then. If you want to see the grandchild, then *you* must get everything back. Otherwise, absolutely no contact, no pics, no videos and we’ll be calling the police for theft. You have 1 hour.”
She was waiting for THEM to come to her house so she could decorate and say I got you these gifts. OP parents ruined her lie... she didn't throw them out. still has them
They definitely should have called the police and reported her for stealing from them, I would bet she would have told them exactly where she " donated " those gifts.
I got frostbite from reading the letter from Gran and Grandpa. Seriously, who writes their grandchild with phrases like: "we... wish you well" "an exciting time" "keep in touch" and more. That's the tone of a business letter rejecting a job applicant! Just speculation here, but these shockingly formal grandparents probably bear a good deal of culpability in how the awful parent turned out.
Crazy mother: If the son had a backbone he should have called the police as soon as the video was viewed. She should have been criminally charged with theft and should have been slapped with a restraining order. The couple then would have had time to discuss their options, including dropping the charges in return for a permanent restraining order.
"Dude. You should not be impersonating an Officer, period!" ... Unless you are a stripper... Then it's okay... I had actually thought that maybe the MIL had sent a male stripper...
5:57 I think OP should get a restraining order agents her, if she was willing to destroy your property just to hurt you, who knows what she's capable of
Relisten to the story. Evil mother got imprisoned for a total of seven years , twenty years prior to the post. And the poster said she had just died. So the evil mother was not in prison, unless she had committed yet another crime. I am betting lung cancer, considering she wanted to basically use her daughter as a sex slave and baby making machine to earn enough money for smokes.
Yeah, that was not really believable. Most people nowadays know enough to ask what do you want and/or do you have a warrant. And to never, ever open the door ...... never, ever let them into your home ....... and never, ever step outside if they ask you to ....... nope, never. Better yet, just don't answer the door ...... there is no law that requires that you answer your door just because someone knocks on the door or rings the door bell.
Laughing mom deserves a police visit. That 2nd last story? There's an entire series of stories about the insane MIL and this officer and his husband including her attempting to steal his police vehicle.
The mom who did hire an impersonator also did commit a crime, facing the same charges as the one whom she did hire. Like if I hire someone to kill someone, I also get the life sentence.

With a horrible parent like #2, if you let someone like that back into your life, it will never end and will affect the marriage. Alway keep the gate shut and bolted.

Hi Fluff, really enjoyed your reading of Reddit stories. If I may suggest, how about putting something like "#1", "#2" etc on, say, the top left? That way if one can respond to a story, one can easily see which story that is. Especially helpful if there are more than one story about "entitled mom" like in this episode :D Also, putting such number is a good indication that a story is complete and a new story has begun.

DAMN! How is she now? Also congrats on 27 years of marriage and 4 beautiful children
OMG! What a psychopath! STAY SAFE!
@@sarahalbers5555 After a scary hospital episode, she has turned around. But 25 years of stories don't just evaporate.
I would have stolen something from her

@@amethyst1826 what would you do then
I'd suggest calling the charities with donation bins in the area to be on the lookout for the stolen property. I can't imagine they'd want any legal trouble from receiving hot items. If it were me, I'd probably tell them they can have everything else if they just give my heirloom sweater back.

Also, MIL should be in trouble too
Fifth story: dunno if Uncle is trying not to be a black sheep, but that is messed up

That third story is just crazy and it is completely illegal to impersonate a police officer in the USA also. Rhat guy is lucky he only got arrested and the mil needs to be arrested also for conspiracy.
Second story:
That would be my second call to OP's mom: "Hey mom.
So, OP's parents planned an anniversary party on their daughters birthday? WTF is the matter with those people? How hurtful.
At least you know who in your family will back your parents rather than you. Now you know who to limit contact with, and who gets limited information.

Don't call them people- do not humanize them, they're not people. Narcissists and BPD-afflicted are poison. The only thing they seem to manage to do is damage and twist. Everything around them.
Second story: Just a broken arm? She went easy. If I was OP's husband I also grabbed that kitchen knife and stab it in the same arm, and twist it.
I would have done the same thing except I would stab it on a leg too so she couldn’t walk

That fourth story is completely believable because I have family that is very similar to them but who would do that when a wedding is such an important event in a couples lives and its not like anniversaries don't happen every year from then on skip the anniversary which is 5 months early and go to the wedding instead.
Literally as i was unloading groceries i said "its sat hopefully fluff has uploaded a video"😂😂😂 And YOU DID!! HAPPY COINCIDENCE
Can’t the MiL be arrested for paying someone to impersonate a cop? Or at least a hefty fine 🤔
Wow! Just wow! All these stories!! The depths of cruelty from all these mothers. Shockingly sad.
She was waiting for THEM to come to her house so she could decorate and say I got you these gifts.
OP parents ruined her lie...
she didn't throw them out. still has them
Yo darkfluff ty for being an awesome youtuber!
They definitely should have called the police and reported her for stealing from them, I would bet she would have told them exactly where she " donated " those gifts.
I got frostbite from reading the letter from Gran and Grandpa. Seriously, who writes their grandchild with phrases like:
"we... wish you well"
"an exciting time"
"keep in touch"
and more.
That's the tone of a business letter rejecting a job applicant!
Just speculation here, but these shockingly formal grandparents probably bear a good deal of culpability in how the awful parent turned out.
Good to see you again. Could you do some other sub like murdered by words or story about Kevin?
Once again, ALWAYS PRESS CHARGES! You don't get a pass just because you're family.
Blood relatives are just strangers with a single thing in common...
Crazy mother: If the son had a backbone he should have called the police as soon as the video was viewed. She should have been criminally charged with theft and should have been slapped with a restraining order. The couple then would have had time to discuss their options, including dropping the charges in return for a permanent restraining order.
"Dude. You should not be impersonating an Officer, period!"
... Unless you are a stripper... Then it's okay...
I had actually thought that maybe the MIL had sent a male stripper...
5:57 I think OP should get a restraining order agents her, if she was willing to destroy your property just to hurt you, who knows what she's capable of
The second story sounds like the Evil Entitled Mother took her own life in jail most likely knowing she will never see her daughter again
Wow! Out of this world weird stories, really cool !
Thank you for this video and stay safe!
Fake cop story : was really surprised they let the actor inside their house, and then *bam* 😂🤯
Darkfloof: hello my wonderful beautiful friends

Hi Fluff, really enjoyed your reading of Reddit stories. If I may suggest, how about putting something like "#1", "#2" etc on, say, the top left? That way if one can respond to a story, one can easily see which story that is. Especially helpful if there are more than one story about "entitled mom" like in this episode :D
Also, putting such number is a good indication that a story is complete and a new story has begun.
