      @@joshduthie3401 If the accuser goes into print (puts it in writing anywhere, like social media) it's called LIBEL, and is (somewhat) simpler to prosecute. @@rachel-in-the-208 That's kinda my point. Aside from just how implausible it is that someone would think that's how a dog trainer or how getting a dog works, how would the supposedly sensible OP not catch on that she doesn't have one? She's not being subtle at all. There's also a couple minor inconsistencies that make way more sense if they were added in at the last minute by someone tweaking the story. First, OP says she wasn't acting like a Karen at the beginning, but that's exactly what she was doing. Listing off ridiculous expectations, deciding she wants a service animal she doesn't need so it can ride the bus with her, and getting snippy at the first sign of inconvenience. That certainly sounds like a Karen to me. Then, OP says they were told to wait in the car, but almost immediately goes in saying Karen knew they were coming in. So which is it? I obviously can't say for sure, but inconsistencies like that are often signs that the story was altered after the fact. I don't know exactly why, but usually it's done because the person writing the nonsense wants to be the good guy of the story and they're worried about how a certain part will be perceived, so they tack on a "clarification" that makes them look good. Sometimes, they forget to redo the surrounding parts to make sure the new stuff tracks properly.

She even tried to control how much bread people can eat. It ends with the Uncle (who has left her in the story in the video) finally standing up for himself as she makes a scene. Everyone ends up ignoring her and eating what they want as she throws a baby tantrum, even wanting to take OP’s father’s car keys to drive home alone.

    • @mikoto7693
      @mikoto7693 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah that does sound crazy. I spent awhile researching different breeds since I’d always wanted a dog and was never allowed one as a kid.
      Then I read that dogs are highly social pack animals that aren’t suited to being left alone for up to eight hours a day, five days a week as I live alone with my two cats and they just seem to sleep through it then get their playing session, feeding and petting when I get home. Then they have a minor competition over who gets my lap and the other then sleeps beside me. A dog would be lonely and I wouldn’t inflict that cruelty on an animal.
      As for my cats, I do acknowledge that they are cats. A species with strong primal instincts. I do the hunt, catch, kill (play with them using cat toys) until they’ve run low on energy then follow up with eat and perhaps a bit of petting before I leave for work so they’ll be inclined to sleep. Then same again when I get home. I respect the nature of my animal companions.

Communication especially listening/accepting is key. My son was home till he was 27 so he could afford his own house. His house - his business. Same for his bedroom once he was adult. Elsewhere in the house the only rule was clean up your own mess. His girlfriend stayed every weekend for years and I only went in his room with permission. I learned what 'come back later' meant. My Mum was great about that stuff too, in her house & when I moved out.

You sell things to make a profit, a 50 cent increase is very small compared to the mark up on a lot of things. A coat that costs $50 probably cost $10 to produce. Iphones that are $1000 literally cost like $300 to make. All of its marked up so they can actually make money, especially when its a local seller who are selling things all day just to make ends meet.

      In 2006, my mother and I were asked to adopt a pregnant Maltese dog, by a woman whose sister was bipolar, not on medication, and had bought the dog a few months earlier as a puppy. The dog, named Lola, was a “teenage mother.” She was depressed, and maybe 5 weeks along in her pregnancy. She’d been left alone too much. The sister had left the dog alone on purpose with another teenage Maltese (male), who impregnated her. The sister called us a couple of times asking about Lola and if she could have Lola back. I asked her if she knew how to take care of a mother dog and puppies. (She didn’t.) I asked her if she had a whelping box. She asked, “What’s a whelping box?” She said she wanted her teenage daughter to see the miracle of birth. I said no, we’re not giving Lola back to her. She laughed maniacally, and said her daughter is her friend. I was creeped out!
      A few weeks pass, and Lola grows really big with her pregnancy. We helped her give birth to 7, yes 7, puppies, all healthy and normal. I believe Maltese usually only have 3-4 in a litter. Lola took excellent care of her pups, and Mom and I fed her huge amounts of food, so she had plenty of milk for them. Like lots of meat, and more than 1/2 lb. Of cheese in a day. She had a huge appetite for a 15 lb. Dog! The puppies were all fine. We kept one of them, whom we named Leo, and he taught his mother how to play. She gradually grew out of her depression, partly thanks to her son Leo. P.S. we got both of them neutered. 👍

      @@shirothefish9688 I dealt with abuse from my parents mainly from my mother my teenage years and while I was attending university. There is a difference between abuse and punishment for doing wrong. Once I had gotten a real job after university with benefits I moved far away. The job didn't work out so I had to return home with next to nothing which forced me in my late 20s to live with my parents again until I got a new job and got my finances in order. I was subjected to physical and emotional abuse until I was able to have enough to be on my own again. She is not welcome at my apartment and knows not to ask to come over. I still deal with depression and stuff from what happened to me :(

    "I have the right to discipline my child as I see fit!" So what if she wanted to discipline her child with torture? That's obviously illegal, but she might actually think it's legal.
