- The Weasels have captured Jessica Rabbit and are in hot pursuit of Roger Rabbit, armed with a deadly concoction of Toon-toxic Dip! Step inside the Toontown Cab Co. and wind your way through a shadowy back alley. Pass Baby Herman's apartment and the backstage area of the famed Ink & Paint Club, where an evil plan to wipe out the animated population of Toontown is being hatched. Hop aboard a "toon" taxicab and stay on the trail of Roger Rabbit and Benny the Cab as they race through town in search of Jessica Rabbit while avoiding the villainous Weasels, who are pouring Toon-melting Dip in the paths of passing vehicles-including yours! As you drive through downtown Toontown, be on the lookout for the dreaded glowing Dip, which could send your cartoon ride into a turbulent tailspin. Steer your vehicle a full 360 degrees as you manage to gain control and pilot to safety along the crazy course. Crash and dash through Bullina's China Shop and slip and slide through the Power House. Be blown out of this world in true cartoon fashion before spinning recklessly into the Gag Warehouse storage area, where the wily Weasels are waiting and the dreaded Dipmobile is taking aim at your cab.

When it comes to the movie 'Who Framed Roger Rabbit' - the 'please don't play with the emergency exit door' scene has always been my absolutely favourite moment!

i hate when you ride with someone else and they tell you not to spin it because they're nauseous. its a spinning ride, c'mon fam.

Dark rides like this should be preserved. Someone mentioned this idea in another video and they're right. They said that these sar rides are antiques and should be preserved for future generations

I went on this ride when I was very young, I hadn't watched the movie at the time so when I went on it with my mom I was basically crying into her lap and waiting for the ride to be over. It was horrible, mostly becasue of how bright and scary everything is, you could Imagine how scared one would be.
This ride would fit in so nicely in Disney Hollywood Studios with a new trackless ride system.
On my most recent trip to Disneyland, my mother spun our own Benny so much that I personally assumed our ride to end up making US the wrecking ball to free the toons, complete with me trying to stop her in cartoony fashion!

I went on this when I was like 4 years old and the ride stopped midway through, it went completely black for a few minutes, then a few lights from underneath the animatronics (made it even creepier) for like another 10-20, then out of nowhere everything turned on and it SCREWED ME UP man lol. Been afraid of animatronics ever since, can't quite describe it lol.
This was the first ride I went on when I was 5 and I freaked out cause I thought i was actually driving

Jess Harnell provided the voice of Roger for the ride instead of Charles Fleischer, I can hardly tell the difference.

WAIT. NO. REALLY?! I was at a cosplay convention a couple weekends ago, and he was one of the guests who were there you could get an autograph from. If I had known that he played Roger in ANYTHING at all, I totally would've gone over and talked to to him! DX
Oh, well. He's at almost every convention in Salt Lake, so I can see him again hopefully. :-)

Oh man! I REALLY wanted to go on that ride when I was at Disneyland with my family during the summer of '96, but the line was so ridiculously fucking long! In fact, it was actually much longer compared to the other lines for the rides in Toon Town. Thank you for sharing this!

I remember going on this with my brother.
The cars follow a track but the riders can control the car's rotation.
@ansarem they never will but that actually makes a LOT of sense, considering KH is a well-known but untouchable franchise that would still attract the teen audience and you could also throw in Wreck-It Ralph.

im sad now because i love this ride and my group of friends took forever to go swimming in the hotel pool and to eat dinner so guess who couldnt go to toon town cuz it was closed. you guessed it! me :'(

3:28 I couldn't tell what that thing was when I was at Disneyland. Since then I have seen it's face and heard that music occasionally during frightening dreams. I think it's just the way the mood of the ride changes so fast and the music gets creepy.

For a while I had no idea that this was based on a ride.

I went to Disneyland yesterday and it took me about 1 hour just to ride the car!
I was going to go o this ride but I never got to. I was waiting in line for around 45 minutes, give or take, and I really had to go to the bathroom. So we just went back and left. ;w;
My very grateful that people record videos on rides, so I could see what I was missing. Haha.

If there's one thing about the Roger Rabbit Cartoon Spin is how long the line always when we go. I remember one of the silliest memories I have of being in line is this poor little girl who was probably around 3 nearly falling over because she was falling asleep waiting in line!
Everything was going on at once, so it seems hard to tell what's going on, but it looks cute!! ^_^
Toon Town needs to either be revamped or just straight up made totally different. Most of the stuff there is out of date now and not many people go there. I think it would be cool to turn it into a "Video Game" area with Epic Mickey and Kingdom Hearts.
sorry if this may offend any fans of this ride, but I strongly disliked it. everytime I ride it there always seems to be some malfunction or something technical that goes wrong with the ride, and the whole concept of it just isn't appealing to me at all. In almost every disney ride, there is always some storyline or journey it takes you on but this ride it just seems like they slapped a bunch of different scenes from the movie together in the mix of strobe lights and weird animatronics to make it into a ride and in my opinion it just doesn't work. Not saying I hate this ride, but I would probably not want to re-ride this everytime I go to Disneyland.

They make the movie which is actually not much of a kids movie because there is a little profanity in it. Then they make this attraction which looks more like a family attraction.

my baby sister was playing in toon town so my big sister and i went on this, we waited SO LONG for this ride and its not to great good, but not worth it.
