And is there anything you would change for a Korba Trickster devotions/skills with all changes that have been since this video? Amazing guide btw, essential for ppl learning this game.

@RektbyProtoss I have managed to reach lvl 72 with the pierce build, on normal, died mode than couple of times, noob here. I have a couple of questions, if you have the time: 1. What can I play after finishing the last quest from the campaign? and 2. Where can i find the Slaughter blueprint? Thanks!
Congrats! 1. You should now move on to the elite difficulty. If you don't wanna do all the stuff again, just rush the vanilla main story line until the Loghorrean (act 4 endboss in the necropolis). Killing the Loghorrean unlocks the next difficulty. The real endgame of Grim Dawn starts in ultimate difficulty. 2. Slaughter blueprint is a random drop, but some vendors also have a chance to sell it: www.grimtools.com/db/items/213
@@rektbyprotoss Thanks for replying. I bought the expansions 1 day after commenting and it looks fine now! Thanks for the guide, it has given me a lot of useful info since I'm still a new player.
If you're playing pierce Nightblade you can go about 50/50 in physique/cunning for leveling and in the endgame potentially respec into 100% cunning (depends on the build). For cold/acid I would basically go full physique and only put points into cunning/spirit that are needed to equip gear. Cold Spellbreaker is kinda of a special case as arcanist has huge %spirit scaling so you could put more points into spirit as a cold spellbreaker.
Would you still go for Revenant now when it's 1 second duration? I'm playing no expansions so I'm kinda conflicted with going the upper route. The lower part seems more tempting, higher reduction and longer duration.
It depends, on some builds revenant is still great because of the attack speed and lifesteal on its nodes. Overall crown is probably better now for flat RR for elemental builds.
@@rektbyprotoss sorry! I meant nightblade + shaman leveling. The legendary helm that you get that converts lightning to cold. I just love dual wield in this game!
You always want to at least softcap the first mod for crit dmg and cdr on any SS build. Nightfall is probably only worth, if you have good global cold/vit -> pierce conversion, so it can be skippable on some builds. Also remember that nightfall is a skill entity of its own, so if you have 100% cold to pierce to SS (local conversion), it will not convert cold on nightfall.
@@TheEluminator Depends a lot on the gear that you have, but genereally without gear, it's prolly a little easier to make default attack nightblade with WPS work than SS nightblade orsome kind of hybrid.

Great video, I really like this series and it's helping me a lot. What's your approach to allocation of points? I have a lot of problems in understanding why people don't max out a lot of skills and only put a few points on some. Is it a matter of scaling? How do you decide putting say 7 or 8 points on a skill instead of maxing it? Thanks!
You usually check the numbers and see how much increase each single point gives you and thus you learn where the skills have their "sweet spots", where you start gaining less return per investment. Also first of all you shoud try to always hard cap max your main ability.
@@rektbyprotoss Thanks a lot! I'm currently building a Bloody Pox Cabalist and have been destroying through normal. I still have a long way to go but it's really cool to understand some of the mechanics a bit better. Cheers!

Depends on the second mastery. E.g. when you play a dervish you want to use Oathkeeper's righteous fervor default attack replacer with acid transmuter asap (lvl 10+), when you use another secondary mastery like Inquisitor for a cold nightblade, you can wait until after you maxed out nightblade and got execution. Most of the time I wait with my second mastery until lvl 35-50. You only choose your second mastery earlier than that, if you want an early accessible skill (at 1-10 mastery points). Attribute points for nightblade will mainly be put into physique unless you are playing bleed/pierce/physical. Pierce/bleed/physical can also go for a lot of cunning (even full cunning).
