I would like to play the game , but why should i pay for it that much? Its more expensive that Diablo (and POE its free) it looks nice but its not worth that amount of money. Thank you for your videos and keep it up.
@@Adysan37 It's rather cheap on sale, and differs quite a lot from diablo and PoE. If you want to play an arpg that's more complex than diablo, but doesnt have the games as service -model of poe, grim dawn is a good choice.
I have put around 400 hours into this game but I still watch these type of videos and love being suprised when I find something new 😁 great work, looking forward to the follow up!
I like how players were requesting automatic pickups of components in Grim Dawn and we eventually got it. We also have that uber loot filter system. Diablo 3 players have been begging for automatic pick ups of Death's Breath for over 22 seasons going on 9 years in may of 2021 and they will *never* get it.
Some of the things presented in this guide have chanced since but the core of it is really good. I have about 3700 in this game and can vouch for the genuine quality of this video. Very helpful! Great job!
Thank you!! A word about build guides, there are very few leveling guides available in the forums. Most of the guides I've found are for fully leveled characters and/or require certain gear to viable (although a few builds do give some leveling advice). This can be frustrating for a new player as you'll try to level with such a build and you'll find yourself unable to do so. Or, you'll try to follow the devotion guide and won't be able to figure out how they achieved what you see. I think the general advice is to level on whatever masteries you like using whatever skills and devotions you enjoy. Then, when you're leveled up, respec into an end game build. At least, that's what I've seen, but I'm no expert.
In the build posts you'll see a Grim Tools link. Click that and you'll go to the character window. From there, click on the book icon at the bottom left, like you would in-game, and the skills window will open. The tabs at the top are for the two masteries and the devotions. Use the window just as you would in-game.@@asrfilho1

Ikr. I really dislike any tampering which start with failing on purpose. I play a character only as long as it never dies as I found it to be the only way for me to care about the character at all. I play carefully but use no guide, so in case the character dies I consider it to be proven weak, and the situation worth a reroll. Hello, quick question, what build are you using here? Looks like Eye of reckoning, and I have a good chunk of your gear already. I've been wanting to make a spin to win, but I haven't been able to find a good build guide.
Hey, my friend and I bought the game through your humble bundle link. We started a co-op campain. I am a summoner and try to follow a premade build which is Occulist-Shaman and focusses 100% on the pets. Can you tell me what for active skills I should be using? It seems like the only active skills I have are the enchantments I put on my main hand and off-hand weapons. Furthermore; where can I find overpowered endgame videos of people playing the game with engame builds? Thanks in regard!
Once you hit level 3-4 and have every slot filled, turn off common. Shortly thereafter turn off magic. You will still get so much more loot than you know what to do with (sell it, or leave it, or use it). You also gain more loot bags/slots during play, so don't become too frustrated with holding capacity.
Idk if this question was already asked in the comments but do you use a shaders patch/mod because your game looks way better than mine and I'm on max everything! ty for your videos you're a GOD!
BRO! You mean to tell me this game has a 'pickup' hotkey? I may still be short, fat, and ugly, but by god if you haven't just improved the quality of my life.
Thanks so much, LNB you got me back into Grim Dawn, I have mage self-build but I got a little bored with just using the ather death beam, after I beat the main story. looking to make a sort of sword/pistol and board tank...like mac says in predator "gonna have me some fun"! subbed.
It is actually not a shield breaker that I am playing. I am doing a 2-handed Templar (Arcanist/Oathkeeper) instead. I will make a build guide and upload it within the week. I just need to figure out what kind of information it needs to cover as it will be the first Grim Dawn build guide that I release =)
Only disagreement is the build guide advice- On a first playthrough, playing on Normal or Veteran Difficulty, so long as you pay attention and are willing to experiment, respec your build, and experiment further to learn, a build guide is entirely unnessecary. Advice from others is nice, and will help you figure out the most fun way to build the character you want to build, particularly in regards to what class combo you choose, but you don't need to go as far as a build guide if you aren't jumping up to the higher difficulties. It's probably wise to use one when you do, but the game doesn't even let you use the higher difficulties on your first play through anyways.
hello. i'm new at this type of games. was about to purchase diablo but was discouraged with there news. now i tried to process through your humble bundle but its $12/mo .. am i gonna keep paying to play this game? thank you
tip #10 if your choosing hardcore difficulty then i let my character die can be revive or not? i was wondering if i still can play my character and let him die as what you've said to your tutorial. i guess that strategy works into normal only and i've never try this before in the crucible. :) let me know sir if i'm wrong. xD

You also gain more loot bags/slots during play, so don't become too frustrated with holding capacity.
Thought you sounded aggressively danish then you started throwing shade at those pesky swedes. Thank you for the video bror 🙂
Not sure what's worse, looking swedish or having that horrible danish accent. However, this video is exactly what I was trying to find, great tips!
Where is part 2? I just installed the game!
Thanks so much, LNB you got me back into Grim Dawn, I have mage self-build but I got a little bored with just using the ather death beam, after I beat the main story. looking to make a sort of sword/pistol and board tank...like mac says in predator "gonna have me some fun"! subbed.
Will that Humble Bundle link work for the xpacs as well?
It will and thanks for using it mate =)
7:43 That was slick but I still caught it!
excellent video dude!! ;)
If I'm going with a focused magic dps build. Wouldn't spirit be better?
Hey Lifting! Will you upload a guide for your shieldbreaker character? thanks! :)
It's probably wise to use one when you do, but the game doesn't even let you use the higher difficulties on your first play through anyways.
hello. i'm new at this type of games. was about to purchase diablo but was discouraged with there news. now i tried to process through your humble bundle but its $12/mo .. am i gonna keep paying to play this game? thank you
I have discovered grim dawn and loved it same day
That's great man, glad you like it! There will definitely be more content, thanks man! =)
tip #10 if your choosing hardcore difficulty then i let my character die can be revive or not? i was wondering if i still can play my character and let him die as what you've said to your tutorial. i guess that strategy works into normal only and i've never try this before in the crucible. :)
let me know sir if i'm wrong. xD
