@@gawrgami_gurone your nature doesn't justify bad actions. People with a bad a nature can overcome their flaws through work and dedication. Ahri feels guilt cause she killed someone she loved. Accepting her nature in the way pyke describes would lead her to do the same over and over without change. She just needs to find someone that can handle her powers, her mistale is believing that her nature is static, not that it's dangerous because it is and she knows it
Things are bad regardless of who does them. The difference is that blame can’t be assigned to someone who has no control over their actions.
Even if there’s some sort of ‘’nature’’ that dictates your action, you’re morally required to try your best to do what is good in spite of it. If you stop at the most basic level without trying to become better, you’re not a good person. Pyke is just handing out an easy excuse.
Evil people do exist but I wouldn't use a piece of Fiction to determine or justify any of that, for example, there is no way someone can tell me that my country government is not evil, I'm not from The USA just in case, that lets the door open to many other interpretations have fun finding out which one is.

Near the end of Ruined King, he realizes that Miss Fortune, someone he originally considered to be just another captain on his list, is actually the kind of leader that "won't let the weak drown" in his words. She's determined to protect everyone in Bligewater from the Harrowing and Viego and Pyke respects that greatly.
So he tells her that he'll kill her last of all because while she isn't as dishonourable as the other captains on his list, she is still a captain.
in short, if you're on Pyke's list, how much he likes you only determines how long he'll let you live.

Wish they would give Pyke more of a backstory, would make him a bit more of a character than: " I'm sad but not really cause they killed me and now I kill them" , maybe the guy he once was had a family, maybe he had a fear of eating fish or who knows, but just something to add a tiny tad of flavor text to him
