I certainly wish you'd make more videos. I haven't found any new ones lately. Your videos are so well thought out, clear and cover subjects not usually found elsewhere. I hope your safe and healthy.
Hi Susan, thank you so much for sharing. For some reason I always gravitate toward a crew neck because I’m thinking if I leave “open space” it will draw attention to the lines on my neck and décolletage age spots. It’s completely the wrong neckline for me! I love scarves, also the sleeveless vest is something I’ve not tried yet. time for me to jazz things up! Xo
Thankyou Susan ... such sound advice ... I'm assuming you have done a video on good necklines for different body types already! I will check out your previous posts Love from Deb🐝
Susan, I saw something about you using magnets to hold your scarves in place. Can you elaborate on that please as to how you do it, and where you get the magnets? Also, do you feel it is appropriate to wear black or off black nylons in the summer if wearing a black shoe?
Hi Susan , is this recommendation for all body types ? I don’t have a round face . I have narrow shoulders and a small bust so I’m not concerned with looking wide . I did a Video for Pear shaped ladies which I am 😊
Gloria J. Pinsker I totally agree. I rarely buy them and if I find I have to for some reason I invariably eventually cut the crew neck off and turn it into a more comfortable scoop neckline.
Only the very young can wear high neck lines...i hate them!! & the fashion for the last 2 years has been a high neck lines (what's with that??) A lower neck line is soo much more attractive on any woman of any age!! Love from Malta.
Not necessarily. As you age some people get very saggy necklines which you don't want to emphasize by wearing v-necks or scoop necks. Also if you have a long face, deep necklines and all the advice in this video make your face even longer.
I don’t agree about that neckline for you. I think it looks great on you and don’t see a problem with it. I like this neckline for myself, too. I have a small bust, and the lower the neckline, the more it calls attention to it. And then, since I’m pear-shaped, the more I look bottom-heavy. One more thing: I look best in saturated colors, so a higher neckline brings that color up close to my face, making me look my most vivid and youthful.
No being short, or older or plump is not a figure flaw at all. We all aspire to look our best. I have short legs and a short waist, so I always strive to balance that with my clothing and accessories. Looking taller than I am, helps.
I appreciated learning how to style a "wrong" neckline for our face shape but I too felt "What's wrong with being short?" I'm 5'2". Plus, I hope she plans on extending the neckline/face shape theme. Happy Spring to everyone watching!
thank you for wonderful tips but I think no one wants to see the aging decollete! Mine is well cared for and looks younger than my age ,but I never bare it,even with a v neckline, scarves are really good camo !

You can still find me at my website (SusanAfter60.com) but I have retired from all social media including TH-cam.
I think you look lovely in that tshirt, although I also appreciate all of the tips that you've given
I just found you and have watched four of your videos,I had to subscribe, love your style and tips
Great tips. Very useful in choosing flattering styles.
Cool. At first I wondered what is so wrong with the neckline, but indeed, all 3 solutions looked better on you

I always wondered my instinct was to avoid high round necklines... now I know. Thanks!
Very good ideas, thanks

Love this video! I can’t find the long vest on your site. Would you mind sharing where you purchased it?
That video is a few years old. I think I bought the vest at Talbots.
Mot a good look for me either - thanks for the tips 😊
I prefer the higher neckline to hide the wrinkles showing on chest and some way to disguise my neck. Over 69, 110 lbs, petite. What to do?
As I age, I can see that wearing a higher neckline or a scarf is more flattering.
Thank you Susan...love your tips!
Great tips! thank you.
I love your video
That shirt looks just fine. Women are so critical of themselves.
missmayflower Totally agree with you.

You can find magnets on Amazon.com but I found mine along with ideas on how to use them here... www.maitaispicturebook.com/search?q=magnet

What a pretty lady!

No, I was just showing how I deal with some of my issues. The crew neck would be great on women with slender shoulder, slim faces and long necks.
Thanks! Subscribed. 👍🏾
Great video - thanks!
I don't need taller I'm 6 foot and 70 years old lol but I never thought of the neckline interesting very good video
Good tips, TY
My petite features require a higher neckline; It seems very unbalanced otherwise.
I absolutely hate the crew neck too. Makes me feel like I'm choking and is so unflattering.
Gloria J. Pinsker I totally agree. I rarely buy them and if I find I have to for some reason I invariably eventually cut the crew neck off and turn it into a more comfortable scoop neckline.
I love crew necks! Much lower and I feel so exposed!
HermeticiaSmythe
Yes me too.
Also loath turtle necks
which are even worse.
This was helpful to me. Now I get why this neckline never clicked for me. I think it is suited for a very slim body type with small chest.
Thank you great tips!

I like that neckline on you.
Neckline good or bad how do you know?
If it makes my face look round and my neck look short, it isn't a good choice for me. (for example)
you can always lower the neckline with the sewing machine or by hand¬
I don’t agree about that neckline for you. I think it looks great on you and don’t see a problem with it.

Fab tips I don't suit that neck either
I don't have to look taller, since I am 6ft :-D
Why so much emphasis on looking taller? Being short is not a figure flaw.
