- Sierra Ferrell and her band close their surprise Sycamore Session set July 21, 2023, at the Nelsonville (OH) Music Festival’s Creekside Stage. Later that day, they played an entirely different set on the main stage.
The Sycamore Sessions are produced by Ohio University’s WOUB Public Media and the School of Media Arts & Studies. Full-session videos are available on the WOUB TH-cam channel (woubpbs).
The song “Seven Spanish Angels,” written by Eddie Setser and Troy Seals, was the closing track, as a duet with Willie Nelson, on the Ray Charles album Friendship, a collection of collaborations released in 1984.
With Ferrell: Oliver Bates Craven on guitar, Geoff Saunders bass, Josh Rilko mandolin.

I just keep watching every live performance of hers I find! She'll be a legend one day, even if the mainstream never recognizes her talent
