@@blaiseblack7175 I agree she didn’t ‘mean to’.. she was too drunk to even think that far. However, she sat and laughed as he told her he couldn’t breathe. She turned the suitcase over, (and appears pushed it down the stairs) causing more injuries. She showed ‘indifference’, she didn’t care whether he lived or died- didn’t matter. And once his pleas for help got on her nerves, she left the room and went to bed. I have zero sympathy for her.

As a public defender, I’m quite proud of the work we do and our ability to take on difficult cases.
But man this would be a difficult one .
I will say this, I’ve been reassigned to represent defendants after the defendants asked for a new attorney due to a break down in communication with their assigned attorney .
90 percent of the time, the defendant actually had a legitimate reason to ask for a new attorney.
Biggest issue is communication . A lot or court appointed attorneys simply don’t communicate with their clients and don’t return their calls. Another issue is the court appointed attorney simply not doing any work on the case and just kicking the can down the road.
In the last few years I’ve only had to ask to withdraw from one case due to a break down in communication. The client was insistent on a non-sensical defense, wanted to introduce not relevant and inadmissible evidence at trial .

I can't remember it exactly, bit it reminded me of how in the south, especially with old blk elders in our communities, I hear the phrase "albino snake" a lot when it comes to white people, usually white women, actively trying to play into the damsel in distress narrative maliciously. I think here this fits her quite well

At some point we have to get justice, otherwise every defendant will just play SB tactic and literally get away with murder... She's not entitled to every attorney she wants, she's entitled to solid defense. So as long as it's done by the books and good record is set, who cares if SB is happy or not?

It’s like saying every single person with depression will commit suicide, it’s a gross generalization and completely untrue. People with personality disorders, even “narcissism”, are not people born with “inherently evil disorder” like media would have you believe. To think such a thing is the line of thinking of eugenics- that some humans are “inherently lesser” or “bad” and don’t deserve life the way others do. Please beware of that line of thinking.

Ah, Sarah! The gift that keeps on giving. I know her boyfriend was an abuser, but nobody deserves to die like that.

    • @mellvee
      @mellvee 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

I disagree. I don't think 'he' was an abuser. I believe 'they' were abusers. It doesn't appear that she was the only victim. I think they victimized each other. I would be absolutely shocked if Jorge had been involved in domestic violence situations before his relationship with Sarah, and I'd be equally as shocked if the abuse in his relationship with Sara was instigated by him. Does it make it ok if she started the abuse and instead of leaving, he joined in and abused her, in return? Absolutely not. It makes him as bad as her, and as much of an abuser as she is. I don't think that him being the male partner in the relationship necessarily makes him the abuser, when it's clear that they both participated in abusing each other. So if he was an abuser, so was she. That makes him a victim, as well. If you look at it that way, she is also the abuser and he is also the victim. So she's just another killer, accused of abusing and victimizing her partner, until finally ending his life.

Could she claim she assisted the boyfriend to commit suicide because he couldn't take any more of her talking? I would believe it.

I realize you maybe are being sarcastic, but if not the video of him begging her to let him out doesn't make a case for suicide.

If she hadn't of taken a video of him in the suitcase laughing at him, she may have got some leniency..
I truly do think she's always been a control freak.

Ahhhh, I was waiting for you to cover this. Sarah will Sarah 😳 Thank you Peter for constantly covering this case. I am so ready for her to go to trial and hopefully get convicted. I understand innocent until proven guilty..but it’s really really hard for me to stay impartial on this case.

Lol your funny ditto on everything you said, yes from Daybell case to this, people keep screwing themselves with their phones! I've had a cell phone about 10 years longer than most people. Flip in the 80s. When I had 3 Verizon phones ( me and kids ) I had LG and this one called the Voyager. Id be on the train, bus plane and people would be tripping. Hardly anyone had phones. But that was for work. Socially even though I film bands and am a photographer, I never sit at a restaurant with my face in my phone. Never at the dinner table. Never with my kids or grandkids. I find it rude. Never to cheat like Lori & Chad. So these people are getting what they deserve! I had never watched any of those body cam arrest videos, omg watch a few someday. Females freaking out getting arrested and ALL THEY CARE ABOUT, is their phone. They all yell at the cops " where's my phone! I need my phone! Hats go off to tech forensics workers. I wonder if they have " foreensic workers appreciation day "? 😂

In her mind saying wasn’t intentional is end of story. She won’t or is unable to comprehend her saying that doesn’t change the facts or the law.

@CapitalCityKate it only took her 8th lawyer for the judge to finally say it. I'm so annoyed. I used to try and give her the benefit of the doubt when she complained about her lawyer not returning her calls, I understand I'd be frustrated too, but now it appears she's just playing games

Someone needs to write a song parody about Sarah Boone and her eighth attorney based on "I'm Henry the Eighth" by Herman's Hermits.
