7:10 the point of that alot joke is in the anime, at least the dub, when she asks for a headcount the soldier says 42 men are left alive, but in the show you see dozens of them being slaughtered out in the front yard before they even get in and there are still dozens more when they do.
Your wording makes it seem like something being dark would detract from it being awesome. But yeah, Hellsing Ultimate, really good. 9/10 Not enough racism. :P
The mines that fired little balls at the vampires, those are Claymores. That's how they work. When they explode they launch little balls in 180º in front of them. What kills are the balls more than the actual explosion. Just saying because you seemed surprised when you saw them.

Necron00b Hellsing Ultimate definitely has better action and gore ( which is always good ) but I feel the original hellsing did a better job of developing the story and characters.
Actually, the "orders" that volunteered were characters created by TFS. Just look at the animation and you'll see they are superimposed in the front of the footage. These characters will be added to the scenes later in other episodes. In fact TFS has added a lot of different animation in front of the original footage throughout all their episodes. This is a way to reduce the copystrikability as they have altered the original footage enough to say it is no longer original. You need to see the original series to realize exactly how much was changed. I love this version for its over the top dark humor, but the original series is truly good at serious darkness.

Hellsing and Hellsing Ultimate are both great, they're huge and have sweeping stories. Not the deepest plots but amazing to watch. I did like Ultimate better, and it looked better, but some people do like the first anime better. As a side note though, the dubs are very good.
