I tried the sardines… I liked them! Very mild in flavor and did not taste “fishy” or salty. They were very pleasant. And the dogs LOVE them. I splitting one tin between the 3 of them each week. I will definitely be buying more.
How do you use the Castile soap for dog shampoo? Do you use it straight or add water first? I am the same way about flour. I told my husband the other day I want to pull my grain mill out and start milling my wheat again but like you I have a bag of their all purpose to work through. I think I’ll start combining the two to work through my bag of all purpose. I also have put up my sourdough starter and want to pull it out again. It’s been a while for both.
@@Mel-vu9ss for the soap, yes I just it straight, with water running, in the shower. Very gentle clean at a better price than dog shampoo. It’s been MANY months since I’ve made sourdough bread. But I’ve kept my starter in the fridge and fed every 4-6 weeks. I did try making a loaf a couple of weeks ago and I forgot to adjust my oven temp (it runs a bit hot) so I burned it. I’ve just been loving the ease of the bread machine and got lazy but definitely need to get my head back in the sourdough game!
@ oh my goodness you sound just like me. I love my bread machine. I will even throw pizza and french bread or rolls dough in it to knead and rise then I’ll bake. lol. I’ve got to figure out how to use it with sourdough too. 😂
@ I’ve been searching for a bread machine recipe that uses sour dough starter but no luck yet. My manual has recipes for “sourdough” but doesn’t call for starter ??? If you find one, please share!

@@angeesteiner8493 That's a great point. Organic standards can certainly vary. As a buyer, you can check the specific certifications on the products you purchase. For example, USDA Organic is a well-recognized standard in the US. In my opinion, buying organic means ingesting fewer pesticides, and potentially better nutrient content. Additionally, supporting organic farming practices can contribute to a healthier environment. Ultimately, it's about making informed choices based on your individual needs and values. Add hot sauce to the sardines or tomato sauce. They're good.
@ Yes, I bet hot sauce would be great, thanks!
Wonderful video! I appreciated the break down and always love seeing what people are stocking up on!
@@carissa-explains-it-all I love seeing stock up videos too. Sometimes it introduces me to new options!
The pie pumpkins look great to me!
@@KatWrangler they were great! Made 2 pies and then a lot of purée for the freezer, 14 or 16 cups in all for use later.
The sardines are DIVINE for me, a person😊, lol! Wait until u r hungry before you eat them.

My dogs love ❤ sardines. They get them usually a couple of times per month as the protein in their "fast food" meal.

I’m going to start making my pups food, is it a concern with the amount of sodium in the sardines?

Organic is a word thrown around and I am leary, the standard can vary, but the pricing can be totally unregulated.
