    If anyone knows the kind of glue-adhesive that is used here please let us know. We do not see any wet glue being applied to two surfaces.

      Thanks, Fiona. I did find a lot of information about that glue, first on the Fairey Marine page on Wikipedia. I just am not clear on how it was used. It appears that the wood is saturated with the glue, left to dry and only then put on the other part(s). I have used Cascamite but not that way. Thanks, again. Dave@@fionaedwards6365

      @@DAVIDMILLER-nc9vo Fairey also built the original wooden 505 dinghies as well as early fiberglass ones. I had one!

      @@ukepenviolinfiddle Good to know, thanks. My brother had a Thistle but his was GRP not cold molded. I did meet Sandy Douglas and I had an old Flying Scot.
