I love colleen and I thought she improved alot as dawn, but I feel so bad for Alison and charity who can’t hear themselves and aren’t heard because colleen steps onto the stage. I’m sorry, but this is Broadway, not vidcon.
I did find that a bit off but tbh that's more on the director. I have seen tones of shows where there's a celebrity in the role and they always make an obvious entrance that allows for a bit of applause. They cast her because of her name so coordinate for it.
I sorta understand what you’re saying, but if literally anyone famous steps on stage, they are obviously going to get an applause. When Aaron took over in Sweeney Todd in January when he stepped on stage for the first song, you literally couldn’t hear anyone for a solid 7-8 seconds every night. This isn’t necessarily colleens fault.
