This includes raccoons, skunks, possums, ferrets, weasels, bobcats, etc. Not everyone has a wild life refuge near them and many people have the skill and ability to take care of these animals. There is a big difference between a wild racoon and a wild lion..and this racoon was raised from a baby so that also makes a huge difference. This young man saved this animal when most would have let it die and he needs to be congratulated for that..not insulted. Thanks.
Saved a cat once while I was heading home from work (this happened years ago). Someone just put the poor thing in a sack and probably just left it on the side of the road to die or get run over. It's a tubby kitty too so I named him Garfield cuz he just looked like him lol. Took him home and spoiled the hell out of him and he's never left my side ever since, he'd even find a way to get in my car just to go with me to work.. That's until the day he passed away of course (4 years ago). I'm usually never fond with cats but he was the coolest and most chill cat I've ever met, he never bothers me when I'm busy, he'd watch tv with me or even watch me play games on my laptop sometimes trying to "help" me kill the bad guy by smacking the screen with his paws which I actually find adorable and I'm glad I found him and took care of him :)
At least you can be sure that you gave him a wonderful life, after the cruelty of this (un)human being who left the cat to die, with a lot of love and fun. He follows me everywhere, and I mean literally everywhere even to the bathroom, he "talks" with us...when you ask him something he meows answering, if he wants milk instead of water, he comes to me and guides me to the fridge and tabs on the fridge door...when I open it, he puts his pawn on the milk pack...it's not that he is our (well to be precise my daughter's cat), but he really is the smartest cat that I've ever encountered in my life so far. :)

I bought my cat a stuffed cheeta when he was a kitten and he still sleep with it now and he's 6yrs old. Occasionally i see him fling it across the room or licking it to groom it he's so cute 😭

My vet says it's normal it means he was weaned too soon or he has imprinted on you or the bear. It's very therapeutic for them apparently. I try to train my cat to not spit all on me but he always gets me when I'm sleep

Chris Thomas Animals may not be good at building cars and flying planes, but they can very well sense what type of creature it is they are looking at. I once rescued a baby squirrel. It curled and slept in my hand on day one. A friend of mine raised him. When I visited her a long time after, the squirrel immediately ran towards me and climbed up on me. We give animals way too little credit as far as the realizations they are capable of is concerned.

Yes is the answer. I have chickens on my acreage ,and I was loosing them to racoons. I started trapping them and releasing them mile from my place. The next door neighbor saw me doing this once. He told me transporting wild animals falls under trafficking. Now when I catch them they get dispatched as humanely as possible.

Yes is the answer. I have chickens on my acreage ,and I was loosing them to racoons. I started trapping them and releasing them mile from my place. The next door neighbor saw me doing this once. He told me transporting wild animals falls under trafficking. Now when I catch them they get dispatched as humanely as possible.
