    The video is cool but like many of you beginner TH-camrs you take too long talking about what you're going to talk about it's a lot of competition it'll make somebody click and go to the next just practice moving a little quicker and you'll be all right 👍

    With so much water bypass from below and the side I think skimming is very limited. Thinking of some modifications to increase surface skimming.

    Nice video ... How high above the tank does the Tidal 35 filter sit?

    • @tgmaquatics
      @tgmaquatics  ปีที่แล้ว

      It sits about 2 inches above the rim

      Awesome! How do you like it? My only complaint is that I wish it came with an intake tube to reach further down into the tank but other then that mine works great!

      @@tgmaquatics that what I wish for too but I also have a seeded sponge in the tank. Definitely cleared up the quarantine tank a little better as I just put it on 2 days ago. I also put a little bit of polyfil on top of the sponge then the bio media in the basket. I have my albino red empress in the tank now with no issues.

      I’m sorry you didn’t get everything out of the video as you had hoped but I appreciate the feedback. It’s a pretty young channel and I’ve been trying to figure it out and get better with time to give the viewer everything they want. As for secrets revealed, idk what you mean by that but the TRUTH was the fact that it’s an AMAZING HOB option. Hope you give me another chance!

    Recommend for 6 gallon tank? Considering vs aquaclear 20

    • @tgmaquatics
      @tgmaquatics  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Definitely more then enough for a tank that size and what’s nice is that you can control amount of flow. I’d say go for it

    @jayson9363 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Do you turn off this while doing water change?

    • @tgmaquatics
      @tgmaquatics  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Jayson, yes. There’s a minimum water line on the front that you’ll exceed when doing a water change therefore you’ll need to shut it off BUT the beautiful thing about this hang on the back filter versus others is that you won’t have to fill it up with water to get it running again since the motor is submerged in the tank it’ll self prime and get started up on its own once you plug it back in. This is crucially important if you’re not home and happen to lose power because you can rest assured your filter will start up again without you needing to be there.
