Calling Super Mario Bros 2J the Lost levels on All Stars was a brilliant subtle piece of advertising. The very first thing my friend and I played when we bought this was the Lost levels because we didn't know it was Super Mario Bros 2 in japan. I think some of the luster would have been taken out of The experience if we realized at the time we were just playing an old game never released in the United States but we thought it was legitimately new content for the All-Stars package...

masochist means pleasure in self harm, so not the right word here. It's hard to say if it's possible. There are some buzzy beetles you can stomp on, but cant really kill. You can require them to be kicked into a pit where possible, but it's not always possible. What do you do if a bullet bill shoots to the left just as it goes off screen? You'd have to get pretty lucky for things like that to never happen, and even if so, it doesn't really satisfy the goal because of things like beetles
I'm pretty sure this guy is cheating! You can even see him choose the level at some point, which shouldn't be possible unless the game is modded or something! Not to mention it's not looking even close to super mario 2! Does anyone has ever heard of this guy before?
Happy to answer all your questions if they're genuine! Level select is on a modded version for practice, but all speedruns are done on the original version on original hardware. This is the original Mario 2 aka The Lost Levels

ive always wondered if anyone has thought of a masochist run. Like is it possible to kill every enemy that is on screen through a run?
