Frank Sinatra is one of those things only a few lucky people got to witness first hand. The man dripped with swagger, was an absolute gentleman. He also suffered from major depressive disorder, and possibly bipolar disorder despite that he hung around with anyone no one was above him. He stood up for minorities sometimes getting arrested, and he happened to be extremely vocal about treating EVERYONE with respect and dignity. He hung out with some of the greatest talents of the time, hung out with everything from steel workers to politicians and did it all with ease. He may have had his demons and downfalls but my god what a voice not to mention his phenomenal stage presence. He also had an air of approachability that celebrities rarely have. I think anyone was welcome to have a drink with him. He was gifted with this incredible talent and didn't let it get to his head and he carried out anything he did with class and style, every man wants to be 'old blue eyes' but there was only one and there will only be one.

This is a live performance, does it get better than this. Even if this is not your type of music, you have to admit this is a great interpreter of Popular American music; this is truly a kick-ass live performance, period!

What an arrangement. Sooo many subtleties from the violins to the harp, the organ and piano... and that's not mentioning all the brass that's simply just kickin' ass. Sinatra was at the pinnacle of his talent when he sung this. His baritone had matured and coupled with his life experiences at this point which were legendary, he's perfection. The orchestration is fabulous. The embodiment of swagger and musical genius.

ikr, I'm 16 and I absolutely abhor the "music" nowdays. All my life I've listened to music none of my friends or classmates do- music of which they completely under-appreciate. I just don't understand how such emotionally driven and convivial music like this could be so disliked by people, especially when those people prefer music which contain no chords, no real instruments, no reverb, no emotion, no and no metaphorical nor melodic, but immoral and superficial lyrics.
Rafi Brown I started listening to Sinatra when I was 12 an quickly gained a love for the style, leaning to love artists like Dean, Tony Bennett, Tom Jones, and ofc Blue Eyes himself
I'm 53, and this song was written 16 years before I was born, but it's one of my all time favorite songs. So, I love it when younger generations aren't afraid to check out their parents' or grandparents' music, because I'm the same way. If you like this song, here's one by Nat King Cole that I recently fell in love with. It's called "Let's Face The Music And Dance" th-cam.com/video/O2zQA8WGvl8/w-d-xo.html
Apparently, he shaped his voice, singing to perfection over his career. He was the perfect showman. Timing etc...., perfect. And, yeah, he was a man's man...and that is rare today.

CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD " Greatest voice ever! "
You will never see this kind of class and charisma again in an entertainer. What a dynamic voice of pure power and range nothing can match it.
The Old Man at his best. Unmatched ever since. Totally encapsulates a bygone era when everything was better, classier.
I am always so impressed by the superb orchestral arrangements…and Mr Sinatra praised them highly too. What class man !
I listen to this song every few weeks and it still gives me chills every single time. Sinatra, Nelson Riddle both at their peak. It just slays.
Same here!!
I listen to it everytime I'm going on a date (I'm 38). Always gets in me in the right mood.
Fantastic
Im 20 years old and I feel like my generation just doesn't get what makes this music so great, its really a shame...
I feel the same 💔
ikr, I'm 16 and I absolutely abhor the "music" nowdays.
@Justin Winn gotta play fallout 3 and new vegas, man
Rafi Brown I started listening to Sinatra when I was 12 an quickly gained a love for the style, leaning to love artists like Dean, Tony Bennett, Tom Jones, and ofc Blue Eyes himself
This song is timeless... Frank was an amazing talent... and there is something about a big band orchestra. ... then there's the instrumental at 2:29... Those horns...
No one come closer to this guy
I dont know if Frank ever sung with such force, power, and grace!
The greatest, and always will be, when it comes to music of this kind. Thanks Frank.
Frank Sinatra is one of the greatest artists in the history of the planet!! HANDS DOWN
What else can you say after that? Frank was simply the best!
I'm just here for my daily dose of Sinatra and the grooving band behind him!
Simply amazing. Untouchable class and elegance - just unmatched in today's world.
He had a simple rule. The audience paid to see you give them the best you can no matter how you feel.
