A really nice base for a solo! For those who plan on staying at 5:20 for a while I would HIGHLY recommend a ladder instead of a twig build up, it makes it very difficult for door campers because they can't shoot on the ladder!

Like, you see some bases that praise 20-30 rockets and look generic, and then I come to this video and see something very unique compared to what I have personally seen. I find that very cool and I hope you keep it up!
For all those wondering, upkeep is 10% of build cost. Build Cost: 62,030 stone, 51,240 metal fragments, and 350 HQM Upkeep Cost: 6,203 stone, 5,124 metal fragments, and 35 HQM per 24 hours

rust is a great game if you have fun people to play with, solo can be one of the most frustrating and stressful gaming experiences you can get but it is not impossible, as willjum is quite good at it, but if you aren’t looking for that get a couple mates and just have at it, it can be quite fun once you get your own little base going and you can likely make it to mid game if you keep trying, but I understand the caution as the player base is incredibly toxic and full of absolute troglodytes, but that’s why I mute voices and global chat and just chill on my own.
So far I've managed to get this to 3rd floor in a 1 week wipe (I dont play constantly) but I didnt farm the last couple days, so I'm ready to try the full base next time. Tbh it's not my favorite to live in but I've tried like hell to find something this easy to build, with small hqm cost and small footprint and I can't. Slapped this thing on the side of a mountain. It just works.
So i finally completed this base on Vanilla server, It's awesome and the design looks scary itself. Btw I wish i placed my T2 on the other side, the jump is pretty annoying lol. Keep up the good work!
I found that dropping items on the floor is the most efficient way of storage... all the people I raid seem to have the same idea and im sure they would never lie to me!

Just take one step at a time. Willjum saying you wont have a airlock but if you place one triangle in the center after you put down x3 triangles then you keep the door frame wood and voila u have a airlock. Hatch out that wood frame when u got the res to further expand and place a wall there instead.

Currently using this on Xbox and no raid yet. Only complaint is the TC can only last 1day and 16 hours and I have a camping trip this weekend. Bye base.
I feel like I'm missing a step here. I can't seem to see a part where you seal off the second double door thats in the core chute... love the build though, and all your other content!
I would use some of the honeycomb on the entrance to start a octagon furnace base. Place a triangle ladder hatch on the floor inside the second sm door and let your imagination do the rest.
I did it too, still got some things wrong -.- would have helped if he stopped like 5 times through the build just to give a better view at each floor :( when building at like 3 or 4 floor I dont know if he is building dowards north or south of the building

I feel like I've been watching you make your adjustments and reinforcing this base over last couple months. I like the direction you went with this base, especially the roof bunker over floor triangle
This is very similar to the bases I've been building lately, except the bottom is a bit more stocky with with oh, I always make dropdowns after Mike or to a larger area on the bottom floor lots of garage doors, and then build up a few levels but you have to access the drop down bunker by going through all the 2nd floor secret hall ways.
I actually raid tested this base today and there are 2 flaws I saw. If you blow a stone wall out on the tower it crumbles, opening the base for a top-bottom. The 2nd flaw was clearing one of the stone walls on the ground exposing core, there it's one wall away from 2 doors into TC.
I had no idea about that little ditty about the campfire comfort and players being nearby! I assume it's because a campfire gives 50% comfort and if other people are nearby they give more comfort to your rating that you can see?
Basically the best possible design.. All you gotta do is add 2x1 squares, and 2x2s on all 4 sides... pony barn...car garage..farm...and RP/chillspot which act as honeycomb on 1st floor... For 2nd floor it can be just a blank floor of honeycomb or turrets and different shit... Just keep adding on but this is the perfect tight core. Just do 2 layers of armored on 1st floor and the rest can be whatever..
Ive built something similar to this. And gotta say these layouts are the best to build a base from. Im gonna check out your triangle Base style. Personally building from mainly triangles is my personal fav when playing solo.

you can pretty easily fit 3 small boxes and 2 barbecues on the small triangle in the core. Maybe even a third barbecue I havent tried
