I was born at 44 moorhouse place ( delph end) Pudsey in 1952 ! On Sunda everyone went for a walk “darnt gib” or down Gibraltar road which went past delph end, and into the valley bottom, and then on to Tyersal or along the valley bottom to the Fox andGrapes

I used to live on Stanningley Road, near the train station in Bramley and I went to Pudsey Grangefield high School so I really appreciate this upload, thank you.

I was born in Pudsey, Prospect Avenue off Cemetery Road. I lived there until I was 16 when we moved to Horsforth. I continued to go to Pudsey Grammar until I was 18. This had brought back some very happy memories. Thank you.

I lived in Farsley from 1948 to 1955 and remember seeing Sir Len Hutton on the balcony of the Pudsey Townhall and there was a Fowler Traction Engine in Pudsey Park.

yes, i remember me and my brother playing on it, in the early 1960's - whenever we went to visit Grandma - happy innocent days 😊

This was a random suggested video....but wow so good to see the old England. I was in Cardiff, Wales for my MBA back in 2006. I always loved the life in the UK. This video brings back so many great memories. Thank you and best wishes to your MUM :)

My great grandfather used to be a baker in Davey Confectionery in Pudsey. I still have his recipe book.

I have recently been doing my family tree and have discovered family links to Pudsey. This video is lovely to see and catch a glimpse of what my ancestors would have seen. We hope to visit this summer. Thank you. 😊

Had a aunt Ivy and uncle Ernie Steeples that lived somewhere in Pudsey , remember going to stay with them in the very early 60s ,and wondered if any one can remember where they lived..I would have been about 6 or 7 then.

Brilliant video, brought back memories when I lived in the area. One thing what you say is Pudsey station is actually Stanningley station. Pudsey had two stations Lowtown and Pudsey Greenside.
