I won't watch anything Cosner produces and directs.most of his movies were boring and failed badly at the box office. Damn, even in Horizons he couldn't let go of his Wyatt Earp look. Earp movie really sucked. He did all of this to throw a monkey wrench into the workings of Taylor Sheridan's series and all the great spin- off series evolving out of them. Sheridan is a great writer, especially with westerns. cosner can't come anywhere near him in talent. I have every confidence that Horizons will flop.
@@raymondconza8489 What do numbers & box offices say about the quality of a film or an actor??? Nothing. A Perfect World was a box office flop and is the most beautiful picture of the 90s. Update : i just went to see this movie. I don’t like Western films but I was informed Kevin Costner, was going to put his heart & soul in to his project and film all real locations …so I had to support him. Watching it, I went in without high expectations and felt like I was immediately In the 1860’s with them all. The colors were so vivid & the lighting was very real, no CGI either. I cried on 2 separate times, hard for me cry, but I did. It made me think of my son & what he meant to me being a single father and not always able to be with him as I’d love to be. The scenes didn’t feel like scenes, it felt like a real story being told through different versions of people and races. I won’t ruin any of the good stuff. The bad is the ending bc it guarantees there will be a part II & Part III film and they race by the highlights of those and in my experience, by the time Costner gets the budget to film again, I will forget what even happened during this movie. I would see it again in a month it was that good.
Thoroughly enjoyed this tonight at a special screening, I didn't even look to see it was on for 3hrs, I just love a good western and the fact it had indigenous tribes represented make it more of a must see..from the days of watching Geronimo on TV, to Bonanza, they lately anything to do with Yellowstone, Costner and Co didn't fail to deliver..I'm just curious how many years passed by in the end scenes, this could easily be a 3 part saga..oh and the scenery is just breathtakingly beautiful. Hopefully Kevin can get people wanting to see films again. You are right, there's been nothing but merde for a long time now.
I am going to see it when it opens. I can't imagine watching it any other way! I remember clapping at the end of the movies. Will people clap for this? If it affects me like it did those people at the awards I will clap and hopefully it will catch on!! I want clapping to make a come back for those outstanding movies!!
Looking forward to this 🙏☝️ hope it’s good Kevin u silver fox u looked amazing in Cannes 2024❤️
More westerns are always good! ❤️
Beautiful scenery, excellent score, a very realistic look at the late 1800’s America! For Costner obviously a labor of love.
Sem medo de errar. Esse filme, vai ser espetacular. Que venha logo pra tela grande.🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
I have seen this movie twice in the theaters before it hit the subscriptions. This is an epic story of the trials and tribulations of immigrant settlers. I love all genres of movies, including westerns, and this will be a classic. In my opinion, Costner has hit a home runwith this film. The critics are way off base.
0:07 Despite the facts that we have a new Warner Brothers with the words “Warner Bros. Pictures” on the shield, I like how they still use that logo without the words on the sheld.
he wanted to act in a cowboy movie but no one hires him, so he made it himself
He's a cowboy on the biggest show on TV right now.
Congratulations! Your comment has been selected as the most stupid comment of 2024.

@@comanche9585Yellowstone. It's a modern-day/Neo Western written and created by Taylor Sheridan, who is a real life cowboy and rancher. He was the cop in Son's of Anarchy.
I love that you filmed at such a fantastic location ❤ this looks like one of the best movies in years!
Fantastic!! Cannot wait to see this and part 2!
I saw it and thought it was absolutely incredible. Wouldn’t change anything about it. So good!!
Costner always delivers!

Loved it and felt it was an accurate portrayal of those times.
It makes me wonder, is Costner the modern day John Ford as far as being responsible for the creation of American made classic westerns?
I turn 50 next month, I'm so glad this came out before I hit the age where watching this is legally mandatory.
My uncle and cousin are extras in this movie and I’m so excited to watch it!!!
Kevin Costner has made a great movie! I saw it yesterday! Thank you Kevin... Can't wait to see chapter 2
This looks great, can't wait.
I watched the first part, on the release date & loved it.❤ I was so ready to watch the second part, or chapter 2, on August 16, I am so disappointed, they decided to cancel.
I had already made plans to drive a little farther to watch in a Dine-in teather to make this experience extra special. Please people start going, & enjoying these type of films is super worth it! We need to support these type of films. Get on the boat!⛵️More support is needed. 🙏❤️
In this film and Dances with Wolves Kevin shows total respect to the Indigenous people. It wasn't a safe to come here from Europe to enter this territory. Whites paid a price but Natives lost the most.
Saw this movie yesterday. Hands down is the best film I have seen this year.
I am so relieved to see a movie not filled with CGI. I truly have missed seeing Kevin on the big screen.
Here is the next clown of this comments section who worked in so many movies he knows all about visual effects. Teach us, master.
Beautiful scenery and lots of good actors. My favorite is Sam Worthington and Luke Wilson. This is epic, I will also watch the sequels.
0:55 diabolical haircut on Costner 😅😅😅
I loved it! 3hr run time went by quick because you could invest in the array of characters, which is no easy feat for a director! A sweeping, authentic, and powerful chapter 1 about our country's westward expansion!
Can't wait!!! Big 'Dances with Wolves' fan! 💕👍🔥🎥
If you haven't seen the movie you really need to go and see! It's EPIC & it will touch your soul!!!
Thank you Kevin Costner!! Amazing work

A Movie Worth Watching, It's So Exciting To Be Able To Watch Something Worth Watching
Feels like a proper 90s movie can’t wait to see it
This is going to be amazing and can’t wait!!!
What a great movie, a real Western, Can't wait to see the other parts🎞
Kevin Costner rocksss.. this is the comback of a true movie star
Loved the aspects that referenced common issues in the Wild West, while not having to explain them too much. The monologue parts are just the right length giving proper historical contexts especially in the military camp scenes.
