Good to see Bruce Dern and Kris Kristofferson in their twilight years.
Not Good enough to forgive such a Shi movie.
I must have been really bored to have watched this to the end.
I agree. But too bad it's in such a dud of a movie ... a "Tombstone" she Ain't !
Really liked this film. Felt the change of times in it too "no guns" today it is "no shorts " 😂
..I just love watching Western movies.....doesn't matter whether it's good or bad. Used to read a lotsa Western comic books as a young boy (early 80s).....ie, i grew up in remote part of this planet and this is one thing to while away my free time with no other activities for entertainment (unlike these days) Huh!! Don't know whether it's available or not these days. This present gen would never understand the fun not experience the joy of reading such comics books😍...
Shoulda seen early 60,s there was one comic book called "Western comics" Cheyenne kid, Johnny Ringo etc. you have to remember the 1960,s was only 80 or 90 years removed from the old west. so there were tons of tv shows too, Remember the things you could send away for like x-ray glasses and sea horses?
@@user-gx2yy1df6f I remember Buffalo Bill, Roy Rogers, The Lone Ranger and his horse Silver, HI-Yo Silver !!
Bruce Dern, very underrated actor.
No he is not. He was a very high regarded and respected actor.
@@JamesBuddell-fn6bz - I mean he has never won an Oscar. That's why I think he was underrated. Oscar decision makers suck. Too woke
@@andresmit9384 - and let's not forget Bruce did not have the 'pretty boy' look!
He was good in "The Burbs" too
@@andresmit9384 Do you even know what "woke" means? I seriously doubt it! Bet you just think knocking woke people makes you sound cool. It doesn't, especially since you're using it wrong!
Wild Bill keeps pulling out his gun throughout the whole movie! Even with the business man’s bride!
His eye sight is the shits
I really enjoyed this ad it really kept me on the edge of my seat
Hickock and Hardin were both known to use the Schofield, Top Break Revolvers.
John Wesley Harding was killed in a similar. Shot in the back of the head
That’s where your knowledge of western influences comes up short !! His revolvers are in a museum and they were not Schofields they were 1851 Navy Colts in 36 caliber and they were never carried in a holster either he carried them in a sash tied around his waist!! You can research that very fact at the National Western Historical Society website if you care to see a mountain of evidence of that!!
WILD BILL HICKOCK WAS QUIT A MAN, HE LIVED WITH HIS OWN HONOR & STRENTH THAT MOST MEN CN'T MUSTER UP TO ! AND THATS A FACT JACK!
Yup, we all still believe in Santee Claws too!!!
Un western bun ,păcat că nu este tradus în română.!
The plywood walls on the wall in the last scene was a treat 😂
I love your icon, and if you are law enforcement or military, let me say thank you....

Well I think this is a pretty good movie for sure.......not my Clint Eastwood but overall a very good movie and definitely one to watch!!! This was for my Daddy, him n I used to watch westerns together all the time...... He is and always will be MY HERO xo
My Dad too would have enjoyed this, I must have watched a hundred or more westerns with him over the years ..
Good cast. Especially good to see Kris Kristofferson. Low key Kool western. Cheers!
Bruce Dern plays the doctor - is there no limit ? 🤠for a neo western pretty good 👍
A full cast of seasoned vets. The dialog was up to the highest standards. Hero's are made in Hollywood.
Couldn't agree more. Hickok came off at the start as such a piece of work, I thought it was just not what I wanted to see. So glad I persevered and yes old those great old faces. Ironic, because I am 74 and know them all so well! Amazing that TH-cam do actually put up quality movies now and then.
@@chrislongstay- Yes a few very rare ones!
Great movie I wish that they would be more movies like this one .
Thank you for sharing
I agree where have all those great Western movies go?
18:43 how is he still alive when his brain was on the floor 😂
That was his ear !!
A good movie with the best point that there is a time for everything, a time to start and a time to call it a day, end.
It is a difficult one in the times of the wild west when the fastest gun rules the roast until someone else faster comes around and either you leave or gets killed.
THIS MOVIE HICKOCK IS A VERY GOOD MOVIE ,GREAT MOVIE ,Gareth
Dissapointed it was dark when he rode away, I miss the old riding into the sunset vibe 😩😂
They could have at least made the character a Bill Hickok resemble the real Bill Hickok. Wild Bill Hickok world his hair shoulder-length I've never seen a picture of him with a suit on.
Loved it ! Thank you !
I second that. There is nothing more irritating to a Railroad buff from the US than being forced to watch movies supposedly taking place in the "Old American West" ...where the idiot film producers use British or European steam locos and rolling stock instead of using late 1800's vintage American locos and equipment. There are plenty of vintage locomotives in the US that could have been used.
Nobody’s forcing you to watch
But his point is still valid
I never would have noticed😂
Low budget they were keeping the cost down. If you are this anal about shit, don’t watch. 🤡
Nothing more irritating?? How bout itchy nuts😂
Solid western great solid cast. 👍🏻😎
Abundance of Star's... Kris Kristofferson,. Bruce Dern.,.. and the others... fabulous movie... very enjoyable
The critic's.. wouldn't know a decent western.. if they were bitten by a snake..
Speaking of REAL characters who REALLY lived in those times and made such an impression that they're remembered to this day?? Old Wild Bill sure was one of them, but there were MANY others!! Remember Doc Holiday?? Oh yes, he was real as they come!! He was a dentist by profession, that's if and
when he got time for it among all his other exploits!! Incidentally, he was the first man to introduce local anaesthesia to the world! By injecting 10% cocaine solution around the tooth in question and the surrounding area, he offered completely pain free extraction of teeth!! Problem is he then got hooked on his own product, often injecting it intravenously on himself!! He died peacefully in his sleep in a hotel in Tucson Arizona if memory serves, of a combination of end stage Tuberculoses and an overdose of cocaine to seal the deal!!
You think the "standoff" at Tombstone, Arizona or the BATTLE OF THE OK CORRAL is just fiction?? Sorry to disappoint, but those were REAL events!
The sherrifs and marshalls involved, Whyatt Earp and Clay Hollister were REAL PEOPLE living at that time and bringing law and order to the " wild west"
Addiction drugs were medicine a while ago .Even Coka Cola
@@adamheazlett1179 Exactly my friend! COCA Cola was first intruduced by a pharmacist as a wonder cough medicine! Based upon cocaine, which is actually a very good cough suppressant. After carbonation became available, he saw his chance and made a fizzy drink out of it, called Coca Cola, which is to this day the most popular soda all over the world!! It does't contain cocaine any more, only LOTS of caffiene. But that's the story of how one of the biggest corporations on earth today began.
He died in a sanitarium in Colorado. You can look that up in the national historic museum of Western idles.
@@richardcox2229 Thanks for that bit of information! As I said "if memory serves"! Knew the cause of dearh was tuberculosis, but uncertain about precise place! Thanks again!😊😊
😊 thank you. Good old western hard to beat
Bruce Dern, Adkins, and Kristofferson, did a good job!🗽
A cool and strong film. Thanks !
For me this is the best western movie I have ever seen..
You need to watch young guns or if you want see a young wild bill the series young riders
You need to watch Tombstone and Unforgiven then.
Try "The Searchers" with John Wayne...
That scene in which he tells the fiancee of his niece, that he had found her dead and the young man starting to ask for details on what the Indians that took her prisoner did to her before she was killed and the Duke responding:
"You want me to draw you a picture? Spell it out? As long as you live, don't ever ask me again!"
THAT is one of the most intense moments in movie history, what is indicated in these lines is telling the viewer more than could be transported visually in a ton of blood and gore. It is the quintessential Western and a cinematographic masterpiece.
Did you see"Shane" or "High Noon" or "Once Upon a Time in The West" ?
Whiskey seemed to be a cure for alot of things.
Still is
I don't get it how come the ginger beard survived without a scratch but his brains were lying on the floor under his head?
The woman lied, and cheated, and caused everyone harm. The End.
The actors were pretty good, and I love Trace Adkins. But it was a dull movie for me. My boyfriend liked it - thanks for posting!
Great movie some of the best gunplay handling I ever seen And storyline and ending really worth the watch.
Colt Navy 1851. That's a heavy weapon to spin around. Or they used lighter replicas.
Главные герои, как всегда, невидимки - их не могуть убить, хоть сто человек окружат их и начнуть в них стрелять. Фильмы фантастики 😁
I truly enjoyed this movie with 😂👏👏🙏
I enjoyed that., and the great cast of characters . Many thanks...
wow...I figured that was Kris Kristofferson in this movie -top actor! He gets the last picture in the movie too!
Excellent movie!!❤
This was actually a pretty good western.
The boy got shot in the right leg and the left was bandaged.
Damn you, Trace Atkins! Lol
Wild Bill had shoulder length hair, a moustache and no beard, how hard would that be for the costume department to get right?
35:55, and 47:05 different leg?
I can't stand to see Trace Adkins in this role!😢 He was just evil! Knocking around a woman and a young boy...just sick!!
This ad was so god I will watch it again
ad
This should have been a series.
There was Wild Bill Hickok tv series in the 50's. Don't remember who played Hickok, but his sidekick was Jingles, played by Andy Devine.
Looked it up. Wild Bill was played by Guy Madison. Show ran for 7 years, 51-58.
What a great film, great acting !!!
Who did the British support buff??
Great movie 🎥

Great movie❤
BEST MOVIE IN A LOOONG TIME THANKQ
They are at war …who do the laundry? It’s all sl cleaning
ole Chris Christopherson
Good Western, good story, good actors and acting🤙🏻🤙🏻
Well, some of the names were of actual persons in history, Hickock did serve in the union army and was a lawman in Abilene for a time, very little of the rest has any claim to historical accuracy. All that being said it was an entertaining movie with a good story and good acting, a fun flick but it sho aint gospel.
That "film" over the eyes AKA cataract can be fixed by dropping castor oil in the eyes. It can take a couple years but it does work, I saw it cure my mom.
The 1995 version Staring Jeff Bridges was a much better movie.
Yes it was
I agree
If you like westerns this is FOR YOU 😊
I liked all the paper aigns tact up on the walls. Old West must have a Kinko's in the next town over. The main character was bad. Did this actually go into theaters or was this just SciFi channel?
Sometimes it takes a good Man/woman to step between others ?? Where have all these good folk gone 2024 still asking ?????
Must b lucky i guess no ads for me good fun film
Cameron Richardson is absolutely gorgeous
Nothing like wild Bill. !!!!!
Gun of glory
Oui j'esaye
What happened if you did not have a railroad ticket when the conductor asked you for one? Did the railroad throw you off the train? Boots in the bath tub? That is rude!
Your heart Bling just listen.
Muy Buena Pelicula
first train ride...jet trails in the sky..lol
Bruce Dern was in another film about Wild Bill.
As Jack Palance used to say: 'Prove It!'
@@HartmutJagerArt Bruce Dern played Will Plummer in the film " Wild Bill " ( 1995 )
I thought it was gonna be a movie about wild bills whole life
Chris Christopherson plays marvelous.
Very good movie... Excellent Story.
know i`m Enjoying this cowboy flix 5*****👍👍
Who is the actress, his prior love interest?
Kris Kristofferson is the only real cowboy in this movie.
DIFFERENT OR UNIQUE PERSON HATE VERY MUCH BY MANY PROPLE.
Voleros TV lütfen Türkçe dublaj veya altyazı olsun
Wow it,s a nice movie thanks
A fine film with some actual historical facts but one falsehood...Hardin was always an outlaw spending most of his life in Texas and being chased by the law,. Although he was the only man that Hickock allowed to wear guns in town, he was never the deputy , just knew Hickok twice in his life for a short time. Since the movie was supposed to be about Hickock,I am surprised they never showed that he died in that No.10 saloon when Jack McCall shot him in the back of the head with a small derringer. Bill did go almost totally blind before his death and got glaucoma from bedding down with infected prostitutes. It never showed his friendship with Calamity Jane either.
Great film thank you ,the sub titles are hideous !
The best thing about this ad was it only had a few movies in it
I love Trace (AD)kins
I have drank with Harding great grandson, in Hawaii.
Dude looks just like his brother
Liked the part when he wins the card game. Excellent lipsinking.
SECOND WATCH & WAS EVAN BETTER THE SECOND TIME !
No ads for me good film
It's the best way to watch a film!
Phil Poe Hell is coming for you
I'm sorry DAD that I have bitter feelings about you , ,I know that you didn't mean for things to turn out the way they did for you ,me and Joanne , it's that I can't forgive you and I don't know why ,I'm very protective of my MUM and maybe I blame you for my childhood , Gareth
Yea, hes allways pulling out his (weapon)
Watched 5 minutes 😅
They could of found a much better actor to play the part of Hickok
Now that was a good film...........
Continuity is criminally dreadful!
Why is it in most westerns the undertaker is skinny and usually bald?
It was ok..
Not great... even though there were some big movie names in it.
6.5 out of 10
I don't think Bill was that buff.
Why is there a German train with 1920's 4 wheel carriages, in the movie at 7:11 ????
It was a Ghost Train von Adolf !
Where Doc. When you need him
Bill stuff fiction with little if any basis in historical accuracy!
