This bike was my dream vehicle when i was a kid. I finally bought one a few months ago, same year As the one in this vid. Let me just say, this bike is amazing!!!! Honestly, it’s a bike i will keep forever.
Carlos Carmina me too i bought a 02 and its everything i want it too be when i was a kid i loved the zx6r and still do there awesome and the Sound is the amazing
Palle K-1 I here ya! This bike has been nothing but reliable. I’m About to purchase my buddy’s zx10 from him. But like I said before, I will be keeping my 2000 zx6r for life. Too perfect of a bike to get rid of
My Parents went on vacation and when they got back I had a brand new 2000 ZX6R J1 with full hindle Ti low pipe race exhaust in the drive way when they got back home... I was 19 back then and rode her hard for 10 year.
Do u still have it and how would you rate it power wise? I've always rode dirt bikes. Then last year I got a ninja 250, then a suzuki sv650, then a honda 919 hornet. I found a 1999 zx6 with 19k miles for 1500 thinking about getting it.
I bought one alittle older, a 1998, and its pretty damn good for a 1300 dollar bike. After 9k-10k it comes alive and just takes off. Planning on getting myself another one and restoring it. Team Green forever !
just bought a 98 zx6r. its the fastest bike ive owned. i had a 89 gpz900, an 82 xj750 and i used to ride an 06 gsx750f and this thing takes shits on em
Just bought one myself a few days ago, I have a feeling it may be a good fit for you, I’m 5’11 so much taller but my legs are really bending on the pavement so I think 5’4 would be able to make this bike work
I just purchased a 2000 zx6r 2 weeks ago (15,900 miles). It was put away wet so it needs some TLC. But, it does still run the way she is, 165mph is easy to get to and is why I think new riders should start with a 250-300cc bike. To much power to soon will lead to a crash.. Get skill, then upgrade to a more powerful bike... Just my opinion... 2wheels down and keep'em between the ditches.
How would you rate it based on power and reliability? Been doing alot of research and I found a nice 1999 zx6 with 19k miles for 1500. I'm looking for a step up pretty much. 1st bike was a katana 600, then sv650, then a honda 919 hornet, road star 1800, 883 sportster.. I owned all bikes last year. Was my first year riding so I would say I have alot of experience because I spent maybe 8 hours every day riding, and I've put alot of hours in on different bikes, but I have only been riding for a year. I just dont wanna get something if I'm not ready for it.
Depends how you like to sit, then is it commute (short rides) or longer rides (4-8+hrs). I love it and can't wait to be able to afford new parts for her.
Bryan Sanders yeah it was an awesome bike! Thank man I'm excited we will see how fast I get there!! I would be happy with 5k by the end of the year lol
Hey Mike check out a song called Light-San Holo maybe you can use it in an outro or something, it's a good song just letting you know about it for future references :)
