The combination of that goal being the comeback win, the celly itself, Mickey not being impressed and Ken's over excitement with "WHAT A CELLY" makes it even better than it is
my favorite this year has to be slafkovsky scoring his first goal in the nhl and immediately telling a coyotes player to fuck off. he's so real for that
When the celebrations are worth so much more than the goals players need to be aware of it and be creative lol, that's how they would be remembered for a long time.
GOLD! Ended on two absolute beauties I must say. Foligno jr jump. Followed by Maleks I own the world face, with a raised arm to accept the praise. Lol... Fully thinking that was going to be your finale clip. Excellent work.. again
Funniest cele I ever saw was a walk off goal. It wasn't the NHL, I want to say either college or a national team. Whoever it was, scored the (game winning) goal and headed directly to the nearest door (not even the one to the team locker room), opened it and just walked out. Just hilarious in its simplicity.
I don't understand why there aren't a lot more of this kind of celebrations? Like I'm not asking for a celebration like Brazil's football team but something more than a group hug is better imo
I can tell you why. It’s because NHL players are humbled unlike other sports where the players go over the top when celebrating treating it like they are the only ones who will ever score or that they God’s greatest thing to ever hit this Earth just for scoring. It’s a team effort for the NHL. The players don’t forget that it’s the TEAM that worked together to get that goal. You should see the commercial when the Stanley Cup rolls around. They play a commercial where you hear the word we being used instead of me or I. The players know it’s about the team and not one player only getting them to that point. Someone also did a little blurb where they compared that racist fuck Lebron James using the word I after winning compared to an NHL team winning. Big difference in humility there. This is a nice thing to see every once in a while but I’m glad they don’t go overboard and do the bullshit things that other players do in their leagues(ahem NFL, NBA and MLS) after scoring. The only time for them to really let loose is after winning the Stanley Cup. So that’s why you don’t see them doing these types of celebrations a lot. They know to have humility and show it too.
@@sarahprince2412 bestie idk why you're so worked up on this simple, kinda silly, question, it's not that deep.. and idk if you watch other sports, but in football (or soccer whatever you call it) it's also a team effort, you think a man alone can run that big field and outrun 11 players score and win the game? No, in the interviews after the games is always we unless they get asked a question that's just about them in particular and even then they do their best to include the team; and when it's the national team doing interviews they even include the people that isn't exactly part of the players team like the people that cooks, clean, get their clothes and things they need (at least that's what my national team did on the Netflix and Amazon prime show they have, and some other interviews, they didn't forget anyone that helps them before during and after the game)..
we need more of these types of celebrations. It won't happen because that player will get either yelled at by the coach or gonna get rocked by the other team on the next shift.
Y'all nedd to understand why this celebration @1:41 was so big. Yes it got the penguins into the playoffs(which they lost in the 1st round)but was the end of what was essentially 2 games played back to back due to old NHL rules. People who hate the shootouts don't remember games like this...games that start at 7pm and end at 4AM. Teams leaving a west coast game @6am and have another game back east at 7 that night and practice at 9am
My favourite celebration is probably the canoe celebration where they sit down and paddle with the stick. Too bad it wasn't featured. I'm surprised that no one has done a T-pose celebration yet. If someone has done it, I've missed it.
@@DeltaHighlights Only other possibility was him touching it and preventing a teammate from getting a hat trick, but the angles don't seem right for that. Looking at it again, I think you're right about the foot. In fact, I think it did only go in off his foot and not his stick. But it wasn't a kicking motion, so it counted.
“WHAT A CELLY”
Thats my favourite thing right now haha
that clip was definitely the reason for this video 🤣🤣🤣🤣
The Red Wings announcers are the best.
W
Anyone who calls it a “celly” is brain dead garbage.
Didn’t know Walman was chill like that 🤝
We as wings fans love him, his speed is underrated
Hahahaha! That was so chill! I moved away in 2010 but I've always believed in Stevie Y.
IKR outfoxed nowhere he hits the griddy and boom one of the most popular NHL players ever
The combination of that goal being the comeback win, the celly itself, Mickey not being impressed and Ken's over excitement with "WHAT A CELLY" makes it even better than it is
i really like the way the audio is mixed between clips with the fade in/fade out and no hard cuts. i love it
Thank you I appreciate it apostrophe!
Indeed. Your clips are much better than others. Better selection, better presented. These are the best.
I think that Walman, Komarov, Cole and Malik hit the most gangsta cellys in NHL history!!!
The Casual handshake celly with Dumba killed me
2:55 "Get on that stick you wicked witch and ride it out" ~👍
That Malik celly was Legendary. Gives off the “this what you came for” vibes
That last one will probably remain my all time favorite.
10:02 My man Travis smiled after that smooch 🤣🤣🤣🤣
"Malik, hasn't scored this year" gets me every time 🤣
that high five the ref celly probably my fav ever ahahaha
Who can literally say that they flipped off an entire arena?
Andrew Ference
stone cold probably
Not an entire arena and only junior hockey but me lol
Great compilation.
- the kiss is a little weird though.. love it
Lol yeah I agree
the kiss is so awesome ahahaha
Well, man hit the freaking griddy on the ice and boom one of the most popular players in the NHL ever😅😂
That Robertson will never get old🤣
That was so damn funny seeing it again. Go Stars.
"IS THAT A GRIDDY ON ICE!"
YES IT IS
it’s so funny that half of these cellys are in the nhl games now
my favorite this year has to be slafkovsky scoring his first goal in the nhl and immediately telling a coyotes player to fuck off. he's so real for that
I remember that Slaf didn’t even hesitate 🤣🤣🤣🤣
9:58 The best celebration. 🎉
The weird goal horn in the background makes it funnier
“Uhh……Did we just see a kiss”
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Nice to see some Thrashers highlights make it in
The handshake ones are hilarious.
When the celebrations are worth so much more than the goals players need to be aware of it and be creative lol, that's how they would be remembered for a long time.
Great video... quick replay and on to the next... love it
Kasparitis sounds like something You never wanna catch 😂
aint no way walman hit the griddy
The kuzy pigeon celly against the pens still haunts me:(😂
Bro hit the goofy ahh griddy WHAT A CELLY💀
9:30 i’ll never forget that game because I was like “man, what if the Rangers got a guy like Marty St. Louis”, then the trade deadline happened 😂
GOLD!
Ended on two absolute beauties I must say.
Foligno jr jump.
Followed by Maleks I own the world face, with a raised arm to accept the praise. Lol...

that Komarov one killed me! 😂🤣😂
2:32 who misses Jeanette?

I love the last one, he literally did the the one of the famous statutes with a salute, that was awesome
I wanna see someone do the Ric Flair strut after scoring a goal
1:30 was hilarious 😂
Ovi's "Stick on Fire" celly against the Bolts was the funniest and my fav one.
The handshake is actually my fav of all time. The way they look like they just like made a deal at a business office is hilarious
how is the rangers dogpile celebration not on here??
The one I thought was the funniest is Marchand impersonating McGregor and my fav is the Theo Fleury celebration vs the Oilers
0:29 MY MAN DID THE GRIDDY ON ICE-
He done the wrong emote 💀
I guess Nail Yakupov's goofy celebrations weren't good enough to make the cut
If I do a part 2 I could, I think I know the ones you’re talking about
Thanks for the content
Only half way through lol 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Dude I love the Bruin’s announcer, his voice and the things he says is so funny
1:57 I think he "celebrated" like that because it went off of his skate and thought that it wasn't going to count lol
WALMAN HITTING THE CELLY GRIDDY
A great celly is Alex burrows when he scored the OT winner vs the blackhawks in game 7
the kiss is my favorite lol so cute
Ristolainen was amazin
Delta highlights are the best highlights
Thanks Lambos :)
love these videos

@@Aspects32 aww of course, thanks for the support!
My dad was at the tiger Williams game watching that celly, one of if not the best imo.
Well, Michael Pezzeta did it in the shootouts last year.
THE FIRST ONE HELP ME💀
His body was like I have nothing left to give sorry my man 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Just reminds me of good times
Fantastic griddy

Jusso Parsinen’s OT goal celly this year was cold asf

This was to send the Penguins to the eastern conference finals, they were already in the playoffs, you can see by the time left in overtime.
Love it😊
I like this one
Perfect video.
When u making signature saves?
Might be a while, was having troubles with finding clips
@@DeltaHighlights ok I don’t mean to rush u
No Pasta from Winter classic against Chicago 😔
Yeah cause that deserves a video on its own called something along the lines of The greatest score celebration ever
Can you do Sharks challenging for offsides
Why was bro mad 😂😂😂
W team mate 8:24
THATS ONE WAY TO HIT THE GRIDDY
I didnt know you could hit the griddy in hockey

Hasek acted like it was just another game against Pittsburg until he probably realized
“He witterawy hitting the gwiddy after scowing the ovewtime goaw!!”
Walkman did the giddy
Don’t forget Radulov’s goofy celly against the Islanders
Walkman hit the gritty
I wish they could be more funny these days too
4:38 why everyone in the crowd gets up like npcs...
Coming back from 0-4 to win in OT? you deserve to hit the Griddy
He hit the grid and made a grid
Malik! 💪🏻
What was the salute by Propp?
It was called “The Guffaw” and it has a bit of a funny back story if you’re interested: brianpropp.com/the-guffaw/
@@DeltaHighlights Thanks! That’s hilarious
The gritty!!!!!!!!!!!!!
PERIOD!
where are some of these not in nhl 23? maybe 24 hopfully
Anybody know why smith was so mad after he scored and slammed his stick?
He thought he kicked it in and it wouldn’t count lol

Insane gritty
It’s always the low quality ones
Ferrence was my favorite
I was starting to wonder if they forgot about Mike Foligno.
If an NFL ref got hugged for a celly they’re throwing that guy outta the game😂love the NHL refs
Real men in hockey, not prima donnas.
Why was that Nashville player so upset?
Surprised Frank the Tank didn't show up
I knew Kasparaitis will be in this video
Wait but why was smith mad about his goal?
9:57 😯
Why was the preds player mad
Heartbreaker celly only any league?
