  • Larry demonstrates the construction of a pantry pullout unit for the garage using Fulterer Pantry pullout slides. He discusses the specific models (FR777, FR771, FR775) and provides precise measurements for the wooden components based on the slide type. The crucial 37mm screw hole setback is emphasized for proper alignment. The installation process is explained step by step, covering the lower and upper runners, bottom guides, and upper stabilizers.

Larry, your video is straight forward and easy to understand! I have a question. I am installing FR771 for a pull out pantry and I am pretty new with making cabinetry. How much gap should I leave from the opening box and actual pull out box in width? Right now I have 4-3/4" opening width and I was thinking to make pull out box 4-1/2". Do you think this is too tight?

Hello, there is no set gap defined when using these slides. Since there is a top guide, your pullout won’t wobble. You can use whatever distance you wish if you are pretty precise in your measurement and mounting. If you have further questions about the installation process or product, please reach out to our great customer service team at 800-383-0130, Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm central time. - Woodworker's Hardware

Larry, you are the best teacher out there. I wish i had seen this vidoe before we built a pantry and bought some other sliders on amazon that do not work well. I will have to make adjusments to ours later and use this set up. for now it will do. how do you reccomend to measue what slide to purchase for the depth that you need? is there a certain measurement to measure the pullout correctly? for example, we have a space in the kitchen 36" deep, what would be the one to purchase? the space is 12" wide by 84" tall. thanks!

Hello, the FR777 does come in a 36" (listed as 35-7/16") which from the sounds of it is what we would recommend for you. www.wwhardware.com/fulterer-fr777-pantry-pullout-slide-white-fr777

Im having problems with the bottom of my cabinet not sucking up flush so my cabinet face sits about 1/8th off the face frame. Is there an adjustment I can make so that the cabinet goes in a bit further?
