There is no one in the UK that's provided such a comprehensive video regarding the use of Euro hinges in their various forms. Thank you for the excellent tutorial.

Thank you so much for posting. The B071B3550 was a direct replacement for my old non soft close hinge. I just swapped them out and didn't need to replace the mounting plate!

Blum customer service recommended a 7 mm distance but my Kreg jig only goes up to 6 mm. I want the sides of cabinet to be completely flush with the cabinet sides. She recommended I use the 6 mm and then make the adjutment on the hinge itself after installation.

Are you saying you want the edge of the door to be flush with the edge of the cabinet. If so how thick is the cabinet side? Then I can make a suggestion.

    Who made a press-in hinge stamped GZ07024?

      Hello,
Unfortunately we are unable to identify this hinge for you based off the stamp alone; please feel free to reach out to us by calling 800-383-0130 or emailing info@wwhardware.com to speak with our customer service who would be happy to try and help identify your hinge if you are in need of a repair or replacement. We are available Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm CST.

Great video! very thorough and much appreciated. Had a question about inset doors for framed cabinets, you prefer using the CLIP wing mounting plates on page 62 of the BLUM manual, or using the ones that mount on the back of the face frame? Seems to me that the former (CLIP wing mounting plates) provide a sturdier point of fixation since its attached to the carcass.

Yes! You are exactly right. And thank you for the nice review of our video.
The wing mounting plates provide a much stronger hold into the cabinet carcass. We do however sell many of the face frame inset plate as they are simple to install.
