- 👋 Hello friends, Today is 8 years since I first moved to Ireland. I created a 7-minute video to share my experience as an international student at UCC. Here is a glimpse of what I got up to on the Emerald Isle:

Hey Mari, I'm looking forward to applying for the MSc in Corporate Finance at UCC, but I'm also considering NUIG. I'm currently feeling a bit confused about which one to choose. Can you please advise?
Hey Shailesh, in terms of curriculum check the modules available on both programmes and see what suits your ambitions best. In terms of lifestyle, I can only say for UCC. UCC's campus is near the city which makes a great difference because we enjoy the city more. Cork is bigger than Galway, but it is still a very walkable city. UCC is also known for sports because of the Mardyke Arena. If you can chat with someone who studied at NUIG, it will help you a lot.

Hey Sara, thanks for watching, I hope you liked the video =) Yes, they offer English courses too. I did one during the summer, but they also have courses during the academia year.

I'm not sure about it because I didn't do that course. Please check the university's website for further information. Most students do get a placement, however it is not guaranteed, you need to apply for different positions. I'm sure if you put in the work and prepare, you will be successful. I hope this helps.

There are many companies in those areas in Ireland. As long as you develop the required hard and soft skills, actively look for the opportunities and give your best in the interview process, I don't see how you couldn't get a job in Ireland. I would suggest that you check out jobs.ie to see if there are any job opportunities that interest you, read the job descriptions and develop your skills to meet the requirement. Also, network as much as you can, meeting the right people can change the course of your life.

Hi, thanks for your comment. I'm not sure what PME stands for... so, I am probably not the best person to guide you, sorry about that. You can search on UCC's and MTU's website if there is a course related to that field of study. Best of luck on your journey =)
can i study automotive daignostics in ucc pleas answer ?
Hello there, I'm not sure if there is a course in that specific area. University degrees are generally more broad than that. If you have completed your undergrad and want to especialise this one specific area (automotive diagnostics), you may try to enroll in a research or taught masters programme in a related field (e.g. electronic engineering is you are more interested in the hardware, or computer science if you are more interested in the software side of thing) and try to do your dissertation in that area. Hope this helps.
