Losing to a close decision ended up working out for dj. He wasn’t finished, but lost his belt so free for the trade. One fc was a much better fit. The ufc was over dj and dj was over the ufc.

Rewatched it again. Extraordinarily close fight. It took the greatest combat athlete of all time to push him to a razor thin, coin toss decision and it took going to a different company fighting at the next weight bracket with different rules for him to suffer his first knockout.
