So you’re wanting to tell me that if you have a custom setup, then just like on F1 99-02, even driving the worst equipment, you could destroy the competition playing on the hardest difficulty? It’s no wonder I always intentionally start last in career modes in almost every racing game
You can up the difficulty with the mod tool by selecting a higher year option in the Year Adj. You should at least be on Race Now for this mode, and if you're using your custom setups, then go higher.
man at least this is more legit then the hyundai n virtual cup goin on rn. something like 100k on the line and it's our favorite hotlap qualifying into regionals into worlds "esports" event. you should look into it austin, might be something you can make a vid on.
>my next goal is to learn how to mod the AI In one of the tools, you can adjust the stats of the drivers. It's all just a number system which makes them faster but you can also adjust their finishes of the previous year to use. The game will use their previous years finishes combined with their number stats(stats are speed on certain tracks, general speed, etc.) Jeff Gordon is statistically the best driver in the game so start there lol. Also if you use the very first tool, the game will replace the tracks but not the tire/gas consumption so if you want to say create the spring 2024 Bristol race where tires were blowing within 30-50 laps, you can do that. Really just take whatever track you want to do it at, and make that track take Michigan's/darlington's slot.
I'm more annoyed that in EA's NASCAR games even on default setup you can win almost every single race from last place. Even if it's only like a 15-20 minute race.
Man i wish the 2004 game was actually like this. I loved Nascar Thunder 2004 so much.

I'm curious how this setup would do in career mode first season.
@@AJFails depends if its the first or second charlotte race
Evernham ruined Kahne's career. Gillet came in and made things worse. Elliott Sadler talked about it on Junior's podcast.

Game is too easy in general. If it was harder, it’d be my favorite console NASCAR game
