There are three different engine options for this, including a hybrid option and with the different trim levels you have a lot to choose from! The exterior has a nice look to it with a new style grill! the 2020 Ford Escape is the new generation Escape with many new features! The 2020 Ford Escape has updated styling and many features.

Who would have thought the Escape would end up looking this nice. I get the impression that Ford has hired some new blood in their design team, because the vehicles really have a nice look to them.
I'm impressed with the new look as well it's a sporty look but at the same time not overbearing. Just smooth aerodynamic look and feel to it only thing just give it more power. But it's fine.
I recently bought a 2020 ford escape sel and I must say that functionally it is incredible. The mpg, pick up, and design are great. However if we look back at the body design in 2020 they are all the same.That said, I love this vehicle!!

We just bought a used SEL for my wife's primary car. I have a Chevy Bolt but this is the first gas engine domestic vehicle we have owned in a really long time and I think my first Fold since my 1990 Ford Escort. Wow has Ford come a long way. The lsat compact SUV we had was a 2017 Hyundai Tuscon and the Escape drives much nicer and has way more base options for less money. I am a bit of a tech nerd and I am really impressed with the infotainment system. The screen is small compared to the EVs I have driven but it is very bright and responsive.

the exterior design is similar to Porsche, even the letters on the back door are placed as if the inscription "Porsche"

It is like this since the beginning of the automobile industry. Why do you think we are able to recognize at first glance a car from the 50's, the 70's, the 80's, and so on, if not because the car manufacturers are emulating each other?

Hi Mike 🙂, great haircut 👌. I'm really loving the rotary shifter in the new Escape, it's different in a great way. There's definitely significant differences between the 2017 and 2020 Escape. Also Mike, the 2020 Explorer you recently reviewed, the exterior color was everything.

The mpg figures that you quoted are for the 2.0 engine. 1.5 gets far better gas mileage.

I love the feel and visibility driving and it looks gorgeous. It has adequate power with the 1.5L over my 06 with the V6 that I was happy with. I feel I made another wise and practical choice which means more money for fun stuff.

Hi, the button you said was for deactivating the cylinder (around 07:40) I was told at the dealership I bought mine from that it's to deactivate the auto start stop ...

You're correct, it's for the auto start stop....not sure where he came up with that.
Around 7:40 where you talk about the auto start stop button and the eco wet conditions button, what is that line just below both those buttons?

Nope. This is how Ford is doing it for their new vehicles.
Known as the Ford Kuga in Europe. We have these engine choices:
1.5-litre 3-cylinder with 120 or 150 horsepower (6-speed manual transmission only)
1.5-litre 4-cylinder diesel with 120 horsepower (6-speed manual or 8-speed automatic transmission)
2-litre 4-cylinder diesel with 150 horsepower (6-speed manual transmission only for now)
2-litre 4-cylinder diesel with 190 horsepower (8-speed automatic transmission only)
2.5-litre 4-cylinder with electric motor with 225 horsepower (PHEV and comes with a CVT transmission)
2.5-litre 4-cylinder with 190 horsepower (hybrid and CVT transmission only)

0 0 had my 2017 for over 3yrs and still great and had a 2010 previously and no issues
My mom has a 2017 Ford Escape with 20k miles on it. Very low mileage for the car, but she hasn't had any issues with it. If reliability is a big concern for you, go with a Toyota RAV4! They are incredibly reliable cars!
I just purchased this car two things that are odd. The first thing is when you sit in the seat I feel it should be further out more to my knees. It’s short I’m 5’8
Next to turn the air conditioner on and off, you have to reach over to the knob the dial over by the passenger side to turn it on and off instead of having it by the driver side 🤔

I don't think it does, if it did I would have mentioned that button for it, but I don't think this one had it.

Mine is making a rattling noise and today It smelt like a burnt wire smell when I got out of the car.
I don't smell it when I am driving and rattling noise goes away when I drive.

The 85.6in is the width including the mirrors. 74.1 is the width without side mirrors ;)

The worst car I've ever had . This car could kill you if you are 70 mph in a highway, and the car pulled you to the right and to the left ( by the way it is not a wheely alignment issue).
Seems like there has to be an issue with your car. My mom has one and it's been perfect for the last 3 years
