It must be an SEL with every possible option added on (except the 2.0L engine & AWD). The 3-cylinder front wheel drive SEL starts at under 30K on Ford's website.
Ugly. Terrible front end design. I had one as a rental and the 3 cylinder was very rough and thrashy and vibrated like crazy when idling. Also fuel economy is poor for the engine size. I did over 509 miles of all highway driving and never saw better than 27 mpg average.
I enjoyed your review. As for back seat room, etc. the more appropriate comparison between Ford and Mazda would be Ford Escape v.s. Mazda CX-5.
Absolutely. CX-30 is a sub-compact.
the channel name is very misleading
man in oct 2020 I got a 2020 SEL that was a demo with 1500 miles for 23,000
my sister in law leases these. She loves them. Reclining back seats in this segment is pretty good.
Good review, but it would have been nice to actually show the rear room instead of just talking about it.
The only car you compared this to is in a different segment… the max-5 competes with the escape, not the cx-30
Great, honest review.
Thank you
34,000!?
Right?! Ford is crazy

I know right. You could get a full size sedan for that price.

That price is a bit much
It's apparently a fully-loaded SEL. The 1.5L FWD SEL starts at under 30K on Ford's website.
Inline 3? I’m pretty sure it’s definitely a 4 cylinder
They make it with both a 3 and 4 cylinder.
it looks like a lifted focus/fiesta
hmmm I wonder why
You said it again lol. Who told you it was a 3 cylinder?
The 1.5L is a 3 cylinder

This is way more expensive than a Kona, venue, seltos, and soul. Why would you pay that much for a crossover?
So your engine doesn’t blow?😅
