BMT AB Standards on the Culver Line (BMTs 100ths Birthday!)

On June 15, 1923, the Brooklyn Manhattan Transit Company (BMT) had taken over assets and operations of the bankrupt Brooklyn Rapid Transit Company (BRT). The BRT had ran service on many different railway/railroad lines that were then taken over by the BMT and upon doing so, brand new subway cars known as the AB Standards were used to transport people around the city. So to celebrate 100 years since this took place, the New York Transit Museum had pulled out their vintage BMT AB Standards for shuttle rides on Thursday June 15, 2023 from 11 AM to 2:30 PM on the F line between 18 Avenue and Kings Highway which was one of the original lines taken over by the BMT in 1923.
