...I couldn't stop looking at his scarf the whole time...It makes him sooo much better that he's definitely a Whovian! Not to mention, his singing is amazing.
The played your exact version of this song as part of the "North pole express" trips in Owosso MI. That's home to the locomotive from the actual movie the polar express. I was part of the maintenance crew one weekend and hearing this song played while I stood in front of the engine brought me to tears. Absolutely fantastic sir.
@Lucy Evans (sorry, it wouldn't let me hit reply for some reason). I've already done the theatre thing. I was in the US national tours of Les Miserables and Beauty and the Beast. I don't have as much of a passion for theatre anymore, but I do still love to watch it.
J'adore vraiment t'es reprise de musique, étrangement, elles m'appaisent, alors que je n'écoute pas spécialement ce genre de musique a la base, merci beaucoup et bon courage - une fan française
Just bought a bunch of your songs from Bandcamp to give to my Dad for Christmas. He will love this, as I do. Thanks for recording them! Bonus points for the Tom Baker scarf.
Every time you post a song, it becomes my new favorite. This is a great Christmas song to begin with, but I think you've (again) performed a better rendition than the original. Thank you for sharing your talent with us!
I love each and every one of your videos. You deserve a lot more views than you have. If there was anything I could do to help, I would. Great job with another superb video and thank you for reminding me of that movie!
This, ladies and gentlemen, is TALENT! Acapella is one of my favorite genres of music and you made the experience better for me so thank you. We need more people like you everywhere. It should be people like you making the millions! Good luck in the future. You will go far "if you just believe". Pardon the pun.
Great! Don't know if you intended it this way, but the you singing bass is a little bigger than the other three (guess you were zoomed in a little more). That's cool because in most quartets I've seen, the guy singing bass is always a little bigger and/or taller than the rest. Do you take requests? If so, more Beach Boys ('In My Room,' 'Catch a Wave,' 'All Summer Long,' or, Brian's favorite, 'The Warmth of the Sun'). Also, as you know, Brian Wilson was heavily influenced by The Four Freshmen. I'd love to hear your version of 'Blue World' (1952, The Four Freshmen - It's a Blue World), 'Angel Eyes" (1956, angel eyes/The Four Freshmen), 'Graduation Day' (1956, The Four Freshmen - Graduation Day) or 'Girl Talk" (1968, The Four Freshmen- Girl Talk). And, just for grins, here's the Beach Boys singing 'Graduation Day' live (1964, Graduation Day - The Beach Boys (Live 1964)). Keep up the great work. I think you're fantastic.
Is this your own arrangement or did you buy it someplace? I would love to have my qtet cover it. What software did you use to make this? It is really gorgeous. Amazing job
jml1952 This song was originally performed for the Polar Express animated film. The singer’s name slips my mind at the moment, but it shouldn’t be too difficult to find the original.

This is that moment when you NEED a "love" button for TH-cam! Very amazing and absolutely great vocals

This is one of my favorite Christmas songs from one of my favorite Christmas movies and I have chills! Good job!
I'm normally not a big fan of Christmas music, but this is absolutely beautiful - both the song itself and your harmony!

This is hands down my favorite version of this song. Groban has a beautiful voice but I cant stand it at the same time.

This is incredible. Keep it up! Do you want to make it in theatre or anything, or are you in theatre? Can definitely see you going down that path:)
THATS A TOM BAKER SCARF. TOM BAKER. TOM *clears throat* BAKERRRRRRRRRRRR
That's partially why I clicked on this video. I have no shame. XD
His scarf was the only reason why I clicked on this video!! DOO WEE DOO!
95 likes 1 dislike (and we know who that'll be from)
Not bad for first day of viewing.
Great track Dan.
hahah thank you Mick! Yeah, you can't appease everybody :)
Sam Cooke

damn
Why the minor chords? It sounds really nice just it's a strange choice lol.
Who is the arranger please?

Adam Reimnitz
it's in the description
Hey, Dan. Who did the chart? (As a barbershopper, I recognize several of your arrangements.)
Hi! This arrangement was done by Adam Reimnitz.
Just so you know the arrangers for all of my videos can be found in the video descriptions.
Why is he wearing tom Baker's scaf?
Cause reasons.
