Kansans face the best high school thrower in the country at the KU Relays

Jackson Cantwell of Nixa, Missouri was ranked number-1 in the nation in the high school shot put in the spring of 2024. The 6'-8" sophomore crossed the state line to compete in the '24 KU Relays in Lawrence. It was an opportunity for the best high school throwers in Kansas to see how they matched up against the specimen out of Southwest Missouri, who also happens to be the highest-rated offensive lineman in many national recruiting services. Cantwell smashed the KU Relays shot put record by a foot.
