Rygar: The Legendary Warrior. One of my favourite arcade games. When I heard the bonus sound at the end of the stage, I thought it was a error; but WoW!! 😲I didn't know until today; and the 1.000,000 bonus didn't know either. Someone commented that you lacked secrets; but he/she doesn't say which ones. For me, you took out more than I knew.

For me the best killing HIT SOUND in arcade history. I only played this game with first 2 power ups only don't know why but other two power ups never worked for me. Oh yes one more awesome best arcade game. Man these were the golden times.
DioTheKnife I think of it the same way I do Strider. Both were great games in the arcade. Their NES counterparts were experimental, while staying good in their own ways. And yet, why are there hardly any games for either series?
I was a real big fan of the Strider remake. If they did something like that with Rygar, especially with how well Strider 2014 handled boss fights, my head would probably explode.

debes hacer que el 3° numero del tiempo (a la derecha coincida con el n° de tu puntaje) en el tiempo son los segundos, en tu puntaje el n° centimo. si logras que los dos numeros coincidan debes poner el mando en la posicion diagonal inferior izquierda. ( si es teclado abajo + izquierda a la vez) o las teclas a + s
I used to end this game in one coin. It was back in 89 I again ended this game in 2018 but in 25 coins may be lol. I have all the ROMS of these arcade games in my computer.
the number under the E of PLAYER 1 must be the same of the time clock seconds, example you got 80500 points the clock must be in 005:00 or 015:00 or 025:00 etc etc, after that you move the joystick to the down and left (diagonal) , I hope express well
Nice play. Was some kind of cheat enabled? I seen he got hit before a few times and didn't die. Like if you look closely at the last boss toward the end when the boss launched at him, it touched his sprite but nothing happened to him. Back in the 80s I think the furthest I got with a quarter was stage 10. Some other kid I know got to like stage 20 and that was legendary. This is an amazing game back then and still now.
(Sorry my bad English)From what I see no...I played the game and the hitbox of the boss is very weird, so with the tiger power he killed the boss because the game counted has he jump on him

エリアごとに置いてある三脚の竜の壺みたいなオブジェを持って置き換える。これは私が初めてプレイしたアルゴスの戦士（プレステ2のアルゴスの戦士）にもあったので、おおっと思いました。
懐かしいな～。これ、タイムアップすると後ろから巨大な顔面みたいな破壊不可能な敵が襲ってくるんだけど(いわゆる稼ぎ防止キャラ)そいつをどこまでかわせるかに燃えたな～。
それにしても踏みつけ鬼ツヨ。まさかラスボスも一撃とは思わなかった。
何故か小さい頃怖くてトラウマで、当時珍しく精神科に行った(笑)
原因は父が映画マニアで茶の間でホラーを鑑賞していて、感化されたらしいが
40にもなると逆に面白いゲームだな

Well, Strider did eventually get a remake (and a good one at that). Maybe Tecmo Koei will someday follow suit? I'm not holding my breath though.

I own a copy. It's not a bad game, but it definitely has some flaws. If it were polished up a bit (or a lot) I think it could make a good re-release.

近所の駄菓子屋さんでかなりやり込んだ。FC版をやった時のガッカリ感は半端なかったわ。
同じく近所の駄菓子屋で1台だけあったアルゴスやってました。
昭和62年頃で当時、中2でしたが、小学生に混じってやってました。
この動画ほど進む事は出来ませんでしたが、その中では1番進む事が出来たのでいつもスゲーと言われて優越感に浸ってました。(笑)
僕が、駄菓子屋でよくやったのが｢ファイナルファイト｣と｢グラディウス｣でしたね。
後｢魔界村｣も下手だったけどやりました。
自分は逆でFCが面白すぎて、ACやったら単なるアクションゲームで一回でやめてしまった。ACでよく遊んだのは小学生低学年時では「スターフォース」高学年時では「カルノフ」かな。
昔、テクモのゲームっていうとボンジャックとスターフォースとアルゴスの戦士って言う三種の神器みたいな感じがあった😂

程よい難易度設定が良かったんだよな。ある程度の腕があれは、誰でも最後までクリアしに行ける。

So the game translates to The Guardian of Argus, right? I prefer Rygar as the title of the game, as it is a lot simpler of a name.
