Yes and I have access to one but it wasn't set up yet as the owner recently moved house so tipped the chemicals out.
Cheap ultrasonic cleaner would save you hours.
I'm not a huge fan of them if I'm being honest but jake does have one so we can use it if needed. In the end I did clean this throughly by hand and use a rebuild kit which has worked wonders.
Nat's er5.... new plug caps first & just snip the leads back a touch to ensure a good contact,then leads then coils if still no joy.
After that it's wire chasing lol.
The golden syrup scooter hmmmmm, my main concern is the emulsion tubes they could well be beyond cleaning 😔 & definitely new fuel lines. Did you find out why it has 3 air filters listed?
Oh before I forget did you order an end can for the dna?
You really should start scuffing up the zl600 parts you want to paint,as the weather is getting nice ie scuff at night spray first thing in the morning.

So I changed both coils, with new leads and caps. Outcome was the same.
Jake just cleaned the carbs and said it has a slight amount of something on 1 so this could be an issue but I doubt it.
I have a concern that the timing chain has slipped again and it's jumped 1 tooth. I may have a dud tensioner here possibly. I'll be checking that out ASAP.
Don't worry about the t max 🤫 it's already done, possibly even ready for mot on Saturday. But it took alot of carb work in the end, lots of product usage aswell.
I've got some wrinkle red paint coming fir the top cover of the zl600.
@@motorcyclerescuer the cam top is coming off for paintwork so ideally the best time to check timing etc.
If still no spark then reg/reg check I'm afraid
@@DB71170 Nat switched the ecu and reg from the other bike.
So possibly stator not throwing enough spark or wiring between stator and spark.
@@motorcyclerescuer if timing is ok & the reg/rec is ok,try it off the car battery 1st then check stator . Eliminates possible dodgy battery cell on ignition start from cold.
Are you using jis screw drivers Charlie they fit tighter in Japanese bikes
Hi Donald, I do have 1 or 2 but I have to admit that I've stopped using them and just grab any Philips now days. I think I will order a fresh set in a different colour.
