How sweet. I will attempt making these. I pretend like you are MY PRIVATE tutor. Have I mentioned that I am 81 years and still going. We live in the country on a farm and jewelry making helps fill those lonely moments.
Made the earrings today. Love them. Not as perfect as yours but lovely non the less. I will keep practicing. Thank you for sharing your talent and tips with so many.
You are so clever and have so much talent!! I'm always so excited to get an alert. Every time you do a new video! Thenks so much for sharing! Im going to attempt it now!😊❤❤❤
Very beautiful! Just a couple of questions. Can you attach a crystal somehow in the center instead of a spiral? Also, can you gently hammer the flower to make it stronger?
@@suzystripe6492 you can definitely attach a crystal. Pop it on the end of the wire, but make that wire a little longer, and then spiral the wire around the bead and pop it into place at the centre. I’d think you could gently hammer the petals at the edges to make it a little stronger, for sure. I’ve not tried it but I will and see how it goes. It should be fine with a gentle hand ☺️
Thank you so much, Jeanetta 😍 We’re doing ok. Glory is a good boy and although he’s getting a bit older now, he’s living his best life ♥️ Hope you and the family are well
I absolutely love these flowers!!! Can’t wait to make them. Thanks for thinking of us in Florida & for checking in. Fortunately, no major damage in our area. Other areas experienced much worse.
So cute! Thanks for the shout out to Florida. I was in the middle of the hurricane. Made it out with minimal damage. Was terrifying for a bit. But I'm ok. So thank u!
Very pretty and versatile. Will give it a go for a pendant, i think..just when you were saying not to pull too hard, I was just visualising myself making it,and I was pulling when I should not!!! I have very strong hands so refined work is a challenge. 😂 we shall see.Thank you for your zen demonstration😊
Once again you’ve read my mind! I’ve been goofing around with this idea without ANY success. My logical brain knew that it would work but I don’t have the creative ability and/or experience to figure it out. It never occurred to me to use a smaller gauge wire to tie the loops together.
These are soo beautiful! I have watch faces i can add these to. I also do wire wrapping and weaving some.betm thinking you could use 30guage or even 28 guage wire to secure the petals in the center. I may try and see how that works. I love the way you explain your techniques and how clean you make everything! I just found your channel and feel even more inspired! I got behind in work last week due to the hurricane and struggling to get bk. You have helped a ton!! God bless you!!!❤❤❤❤
This is just lovely. I’m kicking myself for not bringing a little wire and some tools on my trip. These are first up to make on my return in two weeks! I hope Glory is doing well and your weather isn’t too bad.
Argh! That’s so annoying isn’t it. I’m away for a weekend soon and I’ll be taking a little something away with me 🤩 Weather here is wet and windy but we’re good and in the warmth. And thank you! Glory’s doing so well… apart from being a bit grumpy at times lol 😂
What a great design Samantha, (or 'Sam' to your students here? Lol. That's maybe an American casual way of referring to someone we feel comfortable with 😊) Can't wait to make these. You're a wonderful instructor! Always look forward to your next design!
@samanthalatimer1 Thank you so much for this tutorial. I immediately followed your tutorial (mostly). I ruffled the flower petals, used a bead in the front center, and made a loop at the back center. I love how it turned out. I'm excited to experiment with the flattened spiral today. I want to try layering a small flower on top of a larger one.
I just went back home to Florida yesterday from Mississippi the hwys were filled with power line workers and equipment coming. Thank you Alabama for sending unnumbered vehicles. I saw the national guard. It was a long drive willed with emotion seeing the help coming as well as the devastation they will be seeing.
Every time I see one of your tutorials, I'm in absolute awe!! I use your tutorials specifically, my volunteer work for a group of seniors who like to learn to make jewellery. Even those with arthritis can do this. So beautiful!!!
10mm mandrel 😍 Glad to hear you’re all good. Gory is doing wonderfully well, thank you! He’s an old man now so he’s a bit grumpy sometimes. I’m doing fine, thank you ☺️
Hello, I wonder if this component is suitable for silver plated anti-tarnish coated wire, such as Artistic? Or would the pliers & twisting break or damage the coating, thereby causing tarnish, or showing the copper core? Love to know, as I'd like to use the Artistic in silver instead of copper. Many thanks.
Good question. It depends on the plating to be honest. A good quality wire would hopefully stand up to the work but I do t think one of the clear coated wires would. Artistic could work if it was handled sensitively 🥰
Thank you so very much for your concern and thoughts. We were very fortunate here in northwest Florida to not have any issues with the latest hurricane. Anyway ! I love this new design and looking forward to making a few. Have been really busy so I’m getting a late start. 🙏🫶🏼
You make things that seem so intricate easy to make with your instructions. Cute as can be.
Thank you so much for your kind words 🥰

I’m so pleased you’re doing ok over there. I know some places had such devastating effects, and my heart goes out to them ♥️
Such a pretty component! I love how versatile it is. Thanks Sam!!!
It’s such a pretty piece isn’t it, Jeannine? 😍
It looked hard to make but it was easy. I will try it. Thanks
You are welcome 😊
I love this set and you gave me some more ideas to make some other things. Thanks again

Oh my , these are lovely. I’m so behind on things I’m never gonna get caught up with everything I wanna make . 🤦🏻♀️ love all of these pieces❤
I know what you mean! I have sooo many ideas for things and not enough time to make them all 😂

@@samanthalatimer1 I'll be doing the same...🤣
As usual Samantha, beautiful and inspiring work! Thank you for sharing your talent 🙏🏻

Merci beaucoup . Les fleurs sont belles et votre explication très pédagogique.
Merci beaucoup pour vos mots très gentils ☺️

Your flowers are gorgeous, I love your bracelet, it’s beautiful. Have a wonderful weekend Sam , thank you x❤

I am so glad it was helpful. I had similar issues until I figured out that it would work with some wire holding things together 😍
❤❤❤ loved this 🎉

@@s.wilson5199 sounds beautiful. I love to experiment with designs too 😍
@@samanthalatimer1 I used 2 cm diameter loops for the base layer and a slightly thicker guage of wire. I LOVE how it turned out!

Lovely thanks Samantha. Wish I could keep my workspace as clear as you r videos, are you messy really?
lol this made me laugh 😆 Actually, I’m super tidy most of the time 😆
I taped 2 different sized small wooden dowels together to make a slightly tear drop shaped coil.
Excellent tip, thank you! ☺️
