Mc cann dog training my dog will be having puppies except that my mom always gives away the pup's she tries to give away our big Chi's but people either hate big Chi's or they don't like that they bark to much but I am trying to train them I didn't think I could train a hyper chi but I did;)(::):(:)

Update: I'm ,,maybe, just maybe" getting a dog. I kept house clean everyday and helped a lot around house and my stepdad finally gave it a chance! Never give up!
Update: I got a puppy almost a month ago! Her name is Lara (brown and white coton de tulear) and is the best puppy I could have asked for!

Not really only collar I don’t like collars at all because I just think that it pulls their neck I would recommend a harness for sure because it is more comfortable for 🐶 dogs

For a crate bed my dad always has used a small piece of carpet and once they can be trusted a cheap blanket from walmart or even a cheap peice of fabric from the craft store. Our puppys also always eat in their crate till they are 6+ months old and earn the privilege to be free in the kitchen which is our dog proof room where their food and water stays.

I’m going to a shelter tomorrow with my dad to look at this Labrador golden retriever mix and he is 8 months old and I’m so excited he will be my 4th dog but I haven’t been old enough with my last dogs to train them and stuff like that(I’m 12 and I got my last dog when I was 9) and I’m so excited to go through the training and other stuff with my new pup

I recommend you don’t get puppy pads because it makes your puppy think it’s okay to go in the house just take them outside!

Unless you just put it in his crate in case he has an accident in there
hercules muffinman try potty train tray, the one comes with synthetic grass, I personally think it works better than the pads
Hi. We're about to get a dog for the first time and I do want to train him or her to go potty outside, but was wondering what happens if it happens to be raining? Will they go if its pouring out or what is an alternative place for them to go if not on a pad?

If your getting a pug I would recommend getting a harness not collar, there respiratory system isn’t the best and collars can choke them easily

Hi there, Lisa-Marie! Oooohh sounds like an exciting day!! We will usually do a couple of days at 30% new food mixed with whatever the puppy is on. Then 50%, then 75% or 80%, then you can feed 100% the new food you want to have them on. You may want to have a can of pumpkin on hand in case you puppy gets a little enteritis. A spoonful of pure pumpkin on your dog's food can help them to have more regular bowel movements, if they have diarrhea.We are located about an hour away from Toronto, and about 20 minutes from Burlington!

You forgot a harness. They help real well with dogs that like to pull! It doesn’t choke them out like a collar would
