that first game waws a masterclasss in cheese! the only improvement would be to block the adepts getting into the main, twice. but spotting the robo and then going into stargate for pheonix for pick ups and to take out warp gates. beautiful cheese!
So the fastest a proxy immortal can hit (theoretically), is 2 minutes and 52 seconds. This assumes no time spent waiting for resources and that the immortal starts attacking as soon as it is built. Since a pylon can't be started until at least 50 minerals have been mined, a better time would be 2 minutes and 59 seconds, but probably 3:05 to 3:10 assuming you don't manage to successfully proxy next to your opponents buildings. Edit: Forgot about Chrono-boost. You'll need 2 to cut the immortal build time from 39 seconds to 26. Times changed to include this.
13:12 i think the correct play may have been to blink onto the pylon, whilst you have stalker advantage , they could not then have built shield batteries and wouldve lose the gateway, then move anti-clockwise around the nexus to shield from the probes. It was 5 stalkers vs 8 at the very beginning where he then warped in 2 more after you started to poke the gateway, i think being more aggressive with the stalkers by not poking but straight up all in.
That game #1 was a party from mid to endgame! Also I love how you don't stress even though your whole strat would fall apart with a scout around the natural.
"Losing points is good for the soul, keeps the ego in check." Yes, that's it. Now I finally understand why I am not the world champion! I am just too nice of a guy, keeping my ego in check, taking good care of my soul. It has nothing to do with my 50 APM and having 200 energy on all of my queens.
I've always wanted to see a proxy Nexus or Hatch in the enemy natural or third and getting workers there while containing them. Like a Canon/shield battery/Immortal while getting up a Nexus with workers.
I've sent replays of my "aggrobuild" strat which is similar (but Terran). It is disruptive but, oh well. I did a few more & would send b/c there are a lot of actions dependent on the other player's reaction. Even the worst one where you block their mineral line. I just don't have the APM to pull off the econ advantage that is created.
@@st4ndby I just sent a more detailed if > then > else to the strategy in email. Give it a try in practice 5x. Getting used to the options is part of the problem/difficulty & learning curve. And yes, you can even win against the same person multiple times because you change the strategy based on their reaction.
@@st4ndby and also. who said this is a 100% win ratio? It's simply a different strategy. Something people haven't done since SC1 & definitely didn't do it the same way then
I used to be in Hasu at some point, statement about cheesers is false. Most of the people including me play macro. No one really cares about whether you want to cheese or not, you're free to play as you see it fitting.
It annoys me that in the second game, you didn't attack the cybernetics first, to delay stalker production, and when you enganged with blink, you didn't take down the only pilon powerring 2 batteries. I think you should watch that replay, you should have won.
The gg just before 10 minutes after Harstem talked about how they weren't allowed to have games last past single digits was perfect
Petition to continue cheesiest man alive until 1000 wins
TO 1000 WINS AND BEYOND!!!
Petition to do cheesiest man alive until harstem dies

Well said captain, well said

I love the fact that Tiger left before 10 minut to avoid being kicked out from the clan
You gotta try the good-old stacking 2 workers via gas trick and splitting one of them to build a pylon in the opponent's main base.

The ending of the last game was beautiful. So perfect.

captain the closest proxy possible would be in their main base no?
robo in the mineral lines is optimal
The 200th win against the well-known cheesing clan. The sweet irony. Congrats Captain.
Adieu mon cher Captain ! (your "adieu" was very clean I'm impressed !)
2:14 funniest joke I’ve heard all year
great episode. First game was amazing
That first game was GLORIOUS!!!!!!!
Captain you have the voice of an angel, when does the new album drop
At 15:30 why not take out the pylon and depower all three shield batteries? Isn't that viable?
at least one of these batteries was powered by the 2nd pylon in the back
@@Conqrix Good point, don't know why I didn't see that.
Also, wouldn't battieries just replenish pylon's shields?
Big fan of the short audio intros
Thank you based Hearthstone for keeping SC alive.
Congrats on 200 POGGERS. Love the videos captain, keep it up

This just looks like a natural thing to do

The guy who had 3 batteries had artosis pylon.
0:15 ... But ... aren't bunkers, like, a Terran thing?
on the 2nd game why not send adept to main and blinked in main where no batteries were

And your opponents don’t have the apm and decision making to shut it down with ease
@@st4ndby there are more options to it than just that. The initial build isn't the "win point" it's their reaction that makes teh difference.

Congrats on 200 wins..
Points in the pawket
Theoretically, would the closest possible proxy robo would be in their main?

Kevin in a kimono
i like that shirt
15:30 game was blink into main an option?
Did they take carriers out of the game? I never see carriers anymore.
Stupid question ( I watch far more than I play), but what's the point of proxying gateways so close when all the units were just warped in?
and now everyone will play this on the ladder. thanks.
that last game was so stupid hahaha
Beating gm's with stupid stuff bgmwss Fastest armour and shield upgrades with Sentries for invincible army.
That would be a blast!
This is really good, he should build tanky units too
So 0/1/1 timing attack or prioritizing 0/3/3?
