Bassil is so selfish and non-human. He should be judged by international judges. GB keeps on talking about himself that he's the innocent man but he's the opposite in reality. I am so thankful to live now in a very peaceful country The Netherlands.

    • @kilom7020
      @kilom7020 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Ce Che your view is so clearly bias and has no factual backing can you show me a shred of evidence of any decisions made in Lebanon that were made by iran? Shias have been the minority silenced population forever in the middle east now that shias are in government everything they do is iran related u sound like such a US tool because majority of the people I know in lebanon love and support hezbollah because the men sacrificed through hezbollah in defending lebanon were lebanese not iranian. My family sacrificed their sons when no one else would when you were still floating and riding the hariri train hezbollah put its men on the front line which I remind you are comprised of Sunni and shia soldiers it's not a shia army or Iran army hezbollah is and always will be a crucial part of lebanese resistance against zionist aggression. I'll agree on one important fact the Amal movement have taken advantage of multiple situations to benefit themselves but if you know anything about lebanon then you know that not all shias who support hezbollah support the amal movement which is run by nabih berri. They worked closely together in the times of war because they had to and they are after all sons of the same country but what's happening in lebanon is not a Iran issue so please check yourself because your sounding dumb as hell. How come the US doesnt allow Lebanon to refine sea located oil whilst israel mines and refines oil very well into Lebanese waters how come the US doesnt allow for the Lebanese forces to have a navy fleet and military upgrades the problem here is very much western intervention not iran intervention. Because hassan nesrallah is a lebanese citizen and he doesnt have the option to run from lebanon like all other politicians he gave up a son In the war just like all other parents who gave up their kids. You say iran which shows me your lack of knowledge because all these Iran related things have never been proven just propaganda spat at the lay man who doesnt have the knowledge of a peanut they just go where the money tells them to go. How come a sheikh was caught smuggling large sums of american bills into lebanon at the beginning of protests from the US. Iran offered logistical and technical advancements in exchange for alliance with lebanon as a resistance against zio pushed agendas in the middle east but people in lebanon for the most part would rather sell their soul to the west as opposed to finding out a way to come out of the ashes on their own. Iran has it's own problems and om the verge of financial collapse themselves but yet they are the most advanced technologically, medicinally, scientifically and militarily in the middle east, why does iran hold the largest number of jewish citizens in the middle east who claim themselves to feel safe under their government get off your ass and off fox news and white people news maybe you'll learn something aside from ome liners that are overwhelmingly wrong on all bases. I agree that Iran shouldn't hold control over any governments factions of lebanon but I dont agree that Iran is the problem in the area because no evidence has been provided to support those claims. Your mad because lebanon is in talks with iran? Are you dumb it's called regional alliance without it we would part of the greater israel and we see how well they treat arabs. Go sleep child

    He says his block doesn't represent the majority of the parliament and this cripples his party from passing their drafted laws, but yet his block is a direct ally with at least half of the parliament which gives them the collective authority to pass laws. If he can't agree/lobby to vote for the new laws with his own cherished political allies, then why does his block insist on remaining allies with them, and participating in a new government in participation with them. Why doesn't his block move aside or quit. Or is there any other truth we don't know?

    • @Myriamelhcm
      @Myriamelhcm 4 ปีที่แล้ว +14

    • @mjb2697
      @mjb2697 4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      That's an idiotic analysis of the Lebanese Parliament. Bassil is only a direct ally to Hezbollah, which means he can only garner 39 out of 128 direct votes on laws, which won't make them pass.
      Stop spreading bullshit.

    • @ephrembeaino4952
      @ephrembeaino4952 4 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      It's far more complex in Lebanon, if you are a party and have less than 1/3, then you don't even exist. So what happens is parties ally with each others to reach that 1/3 which allows them to stop the other 2/3 from doing anything. So if you're major, you try to get as many allies to reach 2/3, if you're minor you try to get as many allies to get 1/3. It's not his party doing this, all the other parties are doing the same, every few years alliances change. To "ally" with someone in this case is not the same as being normal allies, you're just together to reach that target.
      So to answer your question, if he stop being allies with them, both he and his allies will lose that power, and looking at it from their perspective, every party sees the other party as corrupt therefore if they break the alliance, corruption wins quicker.
      It's way more complex than this, and not everything can be said publicly when asked, I hope you understand that I am not protecting this man but trying to show you another point of view that you will hardly see in western media, and a quick google search.
      If you wanna discuss this further, I'll be more than happy.

    • @mmm59mmm
      @mmm59mmm 4 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      @@ephrembeaino4952 I'm sorry, my name might be misleading, but i am Lebanese living in Lebanon for the last 25 years, so i totally understand your statement and my opinion is definitely not shaped around western media.
      Our parliament is not unique with the formula you mentioned. Worldwide the weak will always try to reap enough seats to cripple and the strong will always try to reap enough seats to win the vote. However, if this is the only facet we look at it will mean that almost no law will ever be passed, anywhere. The missing key point here is: *healthy lobbying* to win enough votes on a law from either side to create a win or a block.
      I agree when you say that if either side resigns they think that the other *more corrupt* side will win, but if this is seen as a "reason" instead of a "problem" then we will forever be in such a gridlock of unproductive parliament where only the corrupt on each side wins. These same parties have voted on the latest electoral law which had a chance to partially address this grid lock, but they didn't. And they still have fights even with their allies.. if they can't agree on the basic laws, why are they allies, what makes a "normal" ally then? and what is their real fishy "common target"? And they are both using it as tool to continue reaping the benefits for each of their sectarian party. The result is that only about 7% of the laws since 2009 have addressed actual "citizen" concerns.
      As an independent onlooker, I am not protecting anyone either, but his party spends most of their time in public trying to assume they are being politically assassinated when they have the most influential allies, are represented in the president, have drafted the new electoral law, and control the majority of the parliament, government, judicial system, and public sector. If with all this power they were not able to change all the above issues, then their ability to do politics is to be questioned, and their fear from their opposition to take control becomes a tool to obstruct the truth... unfortunately, most of the time to protect them Killon.

    • @mmm59mmm
      @mmm59mmm 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@mjb2697 Your choice of words doesn't seem like you expected an answer. FPM is a direct ally with Hezbollah, yes, and is therefore, by proxy, considerably tied with Amal and other parties therefore making the lobbying much more easier. If they are so loosely coupled to those other parties as you claim, and this continues to be the reason the parliament is unproductive, then they have deeply failed the art of lobbying and are wasting people's time insisting that they want to play the same game with the same currently elected parliament and expect different results

      Socrates hated democracy specifically for the reasons thats lead to a shallow person with low intellect like gebran bassil to be voted into power.
      To socrates not everyone should be allowed to vote. Becahse voting is a skill that should be taught and then earned and not given. Because it is easy to fool the people and have them vote emotionally instead of rationally. And this system leads to demagoguery.

      @@GemayelDaniel True, but is that not happening worldwide? Why do you think the USA voted for Trump? Still, people do vote but not really get to decide what happens after that vote. People are to busy blaming the other party rather than finding solutions. Not many are free thinkers. A real democracy is about equality and having a system that work for everybody. People need to vote on policies and not identity.
