I hold my Racket a little bit more forward like in the 2nd example. I cant play backhand if I hold it in the middle😢
Truls Moregard has a backhand dominant grip... & yet his forehand is his best shot ❗
cuz he adjusted the holding during the game.
@@MrCooperscoopers well he may adjust thumb & index finger between forehand & backhand... But I believe it's basically a more backhand dominant grip.
@@shanelawson5072 I understand. I actually have been in this for a while. The correct answer I think: it depends on different people. Dima adjusts to pro forehand and pro backhand each time he switches. To me this is impossible, it's too fast. So some other people just hold the paddle neutrally so you don't have to adjust much. Even Ma Long adjusts his paddle a little during forehand/backhand switch but he said it's not too much adjustment.

How to block the thumb in the middle of the forehand like you? My thumb is not flat and extends past the middle.
