I too used to use forehand grip but one friend introduced me to penhold and I started using it cuz it's grip is so solid that it makes you feel the racket is part of your hand but one disadvantage is that it's hard to reach some angles.

I'm not a penhold player, although when I try to play it I prefer the 2 fingers support, I find it suits me better

I'm in the middle of Episode 8 of "Ping Pong: The Animation", trying to educate myself about what "penhold" is, because one of the characters keeps using it. This was a good, informative video.

Thank you for your immensely useful penhold tips, I play with the traditional penhold grip but I find it quite hard to backhand shots, can you do a video on ease of forehand to backhand transitioning in the game.

I enjoy watching this tutorial it is easy to follow it just keeps me motivated to continue to play table tennis using this style no matter how hard it feels to do it. moreover the c-pen grip style is rather unique although it takes a lot of courage, dedication and talent to be able to use it perfectly. yet I prefer it anyway as it brings great satisfaction and excitement.

Great video. Thank you so much for your explanation. It would be great to watch a video about RPB flick and topsin techniques. Greetings from Brazil.

Wow I never knew there were more ways to hold it than the way I learned. I guess I didn't really think of it. Thank you very much I'll try all of these out and see what I prefer.

Nice. I have the same grip of Xu Xins, Ma Lin and the curl fingers the weakness of the curl fingers precisely explained and still improving unto it, to break free from its weakness😊 so that's why I constantly switch to another grip.
