Who could expect that "I didn't do it" one-gag character from The Krusty the Clown Show could have so much material for a moveset. I really liked that when you think about turning Bort into a fighter you obviously picture the slingshot or the skateboard. The Simpsonsns videogames do that all the time, so the exploding Duff, Down B (which kind of also covers Moe's pranks) and Final Smash took me off guard. I can guess the animal transformation could have been an original idea for the Up B until you thought about the Superfly as a recovery. So I get additional enjoyment trying to get into the thought process behind how neat all this is.
I think this is perhaps one of my new favorite (if not the new favorite) movesets of Lawl Nova so far! I really like everything from the great representation of what Bart did on the show to some extra details like how the chalkboard gag is used as his entrance and the text on it changes on each stage just like how there's a different chalkboard gag during each intro of every episode. The main moves nailed Bart's troublemaking personality to a tee, from the Neutral B being one of Bart's main weapons of choice and the Side B being his iconic skateboard to having his Down B let him strap small radios onto opponents to pull off his many pranks from a distance. I'll admit the Up B was an unexpected choice but also a very creative one, as you can also make Bart turn from a fly to Superfly and dive towards foes. The Final Smash was also great, highlighting one of Bart's greatest pranks and being effective at its job of destroying nearby traps and opponents within its radius. The taunts were also fantastic, with Bart's most iconic line ("Eat my shorts!") fitting in perfectly, plus I like the layout of his stage being mainly in the Simpsons' backyard as opposed to just their house. And of course, the Classic Mode interaction between Bart and Skinner was both perfect and fun to watch in action. Overall, I think I found a new main in Lawl Nova!
everyone said what i would've..but this is yet another banger! and i love all the small references being even in the victories (Herc: Disney buyout OR Smither's dog Toon DK: Mr. Bruns's song and well..the fact he actually cameod and was refrenced in a few episodes and the game Zack: Looks a lot like Bart)
If Bart doesn't say "Eat my shorts" or ask his opponents who the hell they are, there's no justice. He did say it in the intro and the pre-moveset text, and although he didn't ask anyone about their names, at least he ordered them to eat his shorts. I'm also happy that all his iconic moments such as the skateboard and slingshot as well as the famous Radio episode were implemented. Didn't expect the Duff prank or Fly transformation to be a part of his moveset, but I still liked it. And the Final Smash was too perfect for such a legendary meme. And I like the reference to the Butterfingers ads as well. Final verdict: This was a fantastic moveset that really nailed Bart's character well, and I can't wait for Koichi, even though I'm still not a fan of JoJo much.
I just realized how amazing this moveset was, from Skinner to Bart, I think Bart is my favorite out of all of your other movesets, the moves, victories, and the taunts, everything about this moveset is just amazing, keep going, Skap, and I am hyped for Koichi (because JJBA is my favorite anime)
Bart was probably one of my host hyped characters when he was revealed, and you did a wonderful job in representing him, making him a fast bit (heh) character relying on his pranks to quickly rack up damage. Both the Slingshot and skateboard were expected , with the duff prank being a pleasant second option. Up Special is a nice reference to Treehouse of Horror, the mini radio is a great stun move, and the Final Smash was a pretty fitting choice. In addition, I also liked the little gags as well, such as the intro using The Simpson's Game, the Chalkboard Gag changing every stage, the legendary chair attack, and Hart's interactions with Skinner. Another classic moveset for one of the best Lawls, and I'm curious to see what you have planned for Koichi.
Another brilliant moveset! It really feels like you picked just the right special moves for Bart, including some no-brainer inclusions like the slingshot and skateboard as well as some unexpected references to some of his best episodes like the Radio from Radio Bart and the superfly transformation from that one treehouse of horror episode (BTW, I loved the fact that you incorporated some Treehouse of Horror material in his moveset!) Great job!
Ideas Chalkboard gags: Squigly - I will not use the Skullheart to wish for longer Spring Break Mac And Bloo - "Imaginary Friend ate my homework" is not a valid excuse.
What great Nova moveset! As to it average Simpson enjoyer, I was curious how you’d execute a swell Bart moveset considering his huge source material, but you made it work very well! Neutral and Side B are iconic things associated with Bart translated to a cool versatile projectile and Movement option to fit Barts playstyle. Up B was a really creative mix of two different types of recovery’s hole being a nice Treehouse of horror reference. Down Special ties Barts gameplay and combo potential all together with a very unique attachable trap. I had a good feeling Final Smash would be the megaphones by Down Special, and it didn’t disappoint, and the long stunning time is extra fitting. The moveset proceeds with some great Ko’s, attacks from characters taunts + victories and bonuses. A hit-and-run playstyle works very well for Bart, and the rival talk (and amazing music choice) makes this easily another banger from Lawl Nova. And the the chalk board gags are nothing short of genius! I’m mega hyped for Koichi! Good luck! (And that Nelson line was savage XD)
i haven't watched the simpsons that much, but this moveset is a pretty good reprensation of him: a bratty prankster who loves to cause mischief whether it'd be forcing enemies to get stunned with his radio if it lands on them or them getting blasted in the face with a pre-shaked can of duff. what i've noticed as well is that bart's moveset seems to somewhat revolve around punishing and capitalising his foes' mistakes/bad approaches. kinda reminds of a certain girl in another lawl who gets it together. all in all, great moveset!
i wish this was a game i feel i would main bart. im one to be seen as annoying to fight against in smash ultimate with my current mains of toon link and mr game and watch. so upon seeing a character that has moves that stun opponents and makes it way easier to dodge attacks. that's just my kind of character right there.
Posdata: Fakin Jojos

YES YES YES YES YES YES YES!!!! ITS FINALLY HERE!!!! AWESOME MOVESET AND EXCITED FOR THE FUTURE OF THIS LAWL!!!!!
This moveset is totally accurate to bart's character and his final smash was absolutely funny. The animation style is also fire.
Ay Caramba! A new Lawl Nova moveset just dropped. I haven't watch this Lawl Nova series for a long time. Good to watch all of these again.
Me encanta el Smash final

Ay caramba! What an awesome moveset! I hope the VA of Bart Simpson watches this moveset.
LOL! I'd love that but I don't know if Nancy Cartwright uses Social Media that much

I’m really glad this series is still going on, it’s one of the last well-made lawl series happening.
Love it!
I'm betting you one of his skins is the blue shirt.

Es muy gracioso porque su rival tiene prácticamente la misma voz en inglés y en castellano (grande José Padilla. Y también grande Sara Vivas)
Can you do a move set already? I can't be saying this again

Put Lisa in your roster
Ironically, I really want to see that, even though her perfect rival is taken.
