I'd love to see a town square with a fountain. Or maybe a set of Road sections to extend in from of the buildings. Populated, lamp lit streets with people, horses and mechs milling about living their daily lives here
I think your Power Ballad Bigfoot needs a diorama of his own. Maybe put some younglongs in the cage, and Power Ballad Bigfoot is in a cave somewhere singing his plans to his tribe surrounding him that they must aids him in saving their younglings. Maybe the cave could be a natural auditorium like Meramac Caverns or something? Just a thought. Your build at the end of the day
I’d be really excited to see some type of old-timey manor or maybe a plantation field-but with the owner using the giant beasts to do all the heavy lifting and harvesting. So far, I feel like we’ve only seen things from the common people’s point of view. Wouldn’t the wealthy have some really high-end mechs at their disposal, or some powerful weapons to collect monster trophies for themselves? Or, even better, pay some mercenaries or hunters to bring the monsters’ bodies to them?
Hello mr Boylei, awesome build. I think you should add some more reptiles to your Wild West builds, I know you already have the alligator and turtle but you should add some large lizards of some kind, maybe not dinosaurs though cause I guess they would still be extinct but that’s up to you to decide. Speaking of dinosaurs the 30th anniversary of Jurassic park is on June 11 and I thought you could do a build for it, maybe the gates, or rexy’s breakout scene, and there’s plenty of other iconic moments. Just an idea

Have you given the town a name? Maybe you should, even possibly do a video on just the town's history, how and by whom it was founded. You could possibly do this while making a statue of the founder/s for the town square or even a park that has a statue of the founder in battle with their first monster captured or killed.
I like to think that in this sci-fi Western world, there's a man who makes dioramas of our world, like he says: "a world without monsters, can you imagine?"
I wonder if this town should have some kind of radio mast & control building - possibly for communications, but also for use as a town-sized forestall?
@@cheeseninja1115 Boylei's mentioned previously (in the airship video) that he's not sure that the WIW has access to zepplins until nearer to the end of the period. What does exist is hot air balloons, but there's already a landing pad for them on Building 6.
In a world with monsters, I would assume some people are willing to capture and train monsters to fight other monsters in a competition and people would go and watch the fights and lay beds on them. So some type of coliseum or fight pit diorama would be cool
Highly illegal I would imagine, which just means that it absolutely exists and would gives us an insight into some of the criminal underpinnings of this world.
I'm thinking more like a "real steel"style match like between a robot and a mutated bull or some ape like creature or something..maybe at a fair/ festival type thing

I've said it before: The town is starting to look like it belongs in a Open-world RPG. Honestly, I think it would be fun to make it the setting for a TTRPG!
You should call the town Varmint, cowboys used to call small/medium sized animals varmint in alternative to vermin. Perhaps the founder of the town arrived and saw the beasts roaming the landscape of the wild west and then deemed the area, Varmint land. When people started to drive out and cage the beasts they then settled and built their town on the "varmint land" and ended up naming the town Varmint. Just a suggestion, great video and I cant wait to see this world continue to grow.

Just imagined your town had an open air center...wide open "agora" style marketplace or something? Vendors, quacks selling potions, carny f.i, jugglers, maybe a beast trader...
He probably won't see this but he should definitely make a building that is one of those antenna things that keeps monsters away but really big so it protects the whole town. i think that'd be really cool

Having recently built buildings from a kit for my video for your monthly art challenge, I really wanted to build them from scratch myself, but didn't have the time.. so I feel like I'm living vicariously through you!
just a suggestion that I have picked up from watching yall craft, you could use embedded magnets to hold the monster and the cage so it would be a quick change. And your lettering work on the store is top notch. great work all around.
I met an old Rockhound down Houston way. He had a good piece of land and as his rockwork grew, so did his needs for storage buildings. After he out grew the First, second, third building...when we visited him, he had nigh on twenty ten by ten buildings with board walks and a lane between the rows. Each had a look all its own...enjoying your build from here in Kansas City, the Three Trails to the West.
Diorama idea: (If you haven’t already) You could do a part of the bridge section of the level Metropolis from Halo 2 with the Scorpion fighting the ghosts & wraiths defending the tunnel (Maybe you could also add a phantom and/or some banshees) Also, really good work👍🏼
That's a nice, neat addition to your town, Boylei! I hope it grows even bigger over time. If I may make a suggestion for a building, how about adding a specialty shop that deals in "Forestalls." I can imagine they'd do a VERY brisk business in your town! One thing that caught my eye at 6:47 is when you painted your "non self-aware" monster, you had the sasquatch wearing a skull as a shoulder pauldron held by a leather strap. If the sasquatch is an animal that isn't self-aware, why would it wear such an 'accessory?' Was it put there by someone who "owns" the sasquatch? In addition to your Wild Imaginary West dioramas, it would be interesting to have something written on your site that gives a brief, but comprehensive history of your world. As always, thanks for sharing your projects with us!
One question I have about your Imaginary Wild West. You've made a point of specifying that there are certain machines called 'Forestalls' that emit frequencies to deter and repel giant animals. But we've only seen these called out in your smaller scale models with individual walkers, caravans and other travelers. For the town itself though, does each building have its own Forestall that keeps the nasties away? Or is there a giant radio tower located somewhere that creates a 'field' around the town and allows folks to live unhindered (mostly) by the giant fauna?
You should do a special episode making a huge base with paths and stuff, really making it a town 😍 with “future development” plots for future projects ;)

Amazing as always. Such a sick town idea. Maybe a building idea, a hunting dog kennel or pen where the hunters keep their tracking animals for hunting monsters. Maybe not dogs but something that the monster hunters would use but dogs seems like it would fit western vibe
It is nice for you to return to the town' but I'm surprised the store doesn't have any defensive capabilities, figured it'd be a place criminals would also try and rob along with the bank.
I feel like its a shame you cant see into the sheriff’s cage. It would be cool if the top of it was open, so you could actually see the monster inside. It also seems appropriate due to the lookout platform above the cage, and the stance of the bigfoot/yeti inside. It seems like he is screaming/roaring at a guardsman standing on the platform.
Fabulous work as usual. Something that occurred to me is that there isn't a lot of lights in this town. Maybe regular street lights aren't a thing, but I would expect to see a few lanterns on the buildings, at least around the main entrance.
You might want to consider making some roads and plots of land on one giant base to connect the entire town. Also if you do I saw someone say to make some backstory while you do? Might be a fun video

That's a great idea. Add some freaky geese or ducks to the park, and really emphasise the "weird" in weird wild west.

Your Wild West Town is my favourite among your projects. I enjoy your entire Wile West-themed dioramas, but the town is particularly intriguing.

It's not hyperbole to say that this is kinda how western towns grew up and developed. They didn't just pop up out of the prairie.
