that shouldn't happen, the price of land in our cities is crazy especially Cape Town
The Value of the house is determined not only by how big and beautiful it is. Things like availability to other things like shopping centers, better schools for children, better hospitals/clinics, safety/security, water quality, weather, etc. Hence you might find that a mere 4 room price in a city could be same price as an 8-10 room house in rural areas, the only way for the value of rural house prices to increase is based on the factors and more I mentioned.
Only in dreamland, especially if you think property value is determined by how big or beautiful it is. Being around or in an urban cities is what makes it high valued. Rural can never ever be more expensive than urban, it doesn't make economical sense.

As much as I love and admire these beautiful homes, I think the South African rural council, historical society, and traditional associations must do their level best to preserve traditional homes and not erase the past

At the same time i want to caution our fellow black south africans not to cut down trees, especially in areas such Lion Park. Keep it as natural as it can be or else we live to regret years to come.

Wonderful! I am also from KZN but based in Joburg .If possible please go to Venda, Thohoyandou. You will be blown away by the properties. They even build hotels and private hospitals.

Very Beautiful. I have never really been outside of the Western Cape, Nice to see what the rest of our Beautiful Country looks like. Love the homes,I like the fact quite a few of the properties still have or build new "rondawels" 🛖 🤔 is that the correct word?? My brother is an architect so I kinda see the homes from his point of view, really Beautiful. Hoping in a few years time there will be lots of trees 🌳 and maybe communal vegetables gardens. Beautiful work from our people, I’ve always wondered if your traditional insurance companies do provide cover for properties in the rurals - if not I see it as a space a space we can move into before oondlebe-zikhany'ilanga spot and monopolise it as well.

This is the way to go, Rural is where our new focus and development should be. Cities are over populated. Infrastructure in cities is collapsing

T I love about this is that many of these are family homes. Where people go for December and to mark other important events in life. Now instead of people sleeping on the floor or dinning room. There is enough space for everybody. We have big families and now they are well accommodated.
