Thanks for your work and a great channel. I grew up in the village next door, Mangete, at my maternal grannies' place, which now belongs to my uncle's family. We had sugar cane and gum trees. We also had stunning seaviews, but never really appreciated them as a child because I was born there. Only started appreciating my home village when I started working in Johannesburg in the 90's, after realizing how crazy people were about the sea, which I always took for granted.

That's the only way you can get it, and you'll then be introduced to Induna (headsman) of the place. You don't get registered title like in the suburbs or townships. It's communal land, but once you get introduced to traditional leadership, build and get established, noone can remove you.

Wow!!!! this is a very beautiful area with a sea view, I Know this area it is under Mandeni Municipality, it's very beautiful and it is good for agriculture ,the area is very fertile. Ilove this I grew up in this area and attended the school that is appearing little in this video. Rural area are very beautiful and peaceful.
We need to build our own cities in rural areas. Rural development amongst black owned companies is what will grow our income and build wealth for our future generation. My mindset is constantly on rural development opportunities, whether supermarket, residential apartments, farming, hotels and lodges, schools, endless opportunities for black entrepreneurs...We need to unite in terms of resources, whether black owned construction companies, logistic companies, those with experience in farming etc. The money must circulate within our communities and create jobs through rural development entrepreneurship.

Beautiful content and of coz the houses, quick suggestion or question what about amenities like schools and hospitals are they close or far say someone wants to live here full time.
Yet I went to Mangete Primary School and lived in Mangete, I used to go fishing at the Tugela Mouth every weekend. Than later as an Adult I approached the Chief in Mevamlopi near Empangeni and got a piece of land for real cheap, however sadly I left South Africa, because had a big mouth against the rotten government in those oppressive times Thanks for showing us, amazing
It might be easy to buy a plot of land than a home. Villagers treasure their homes, they usually have family grave yards within the plots and that is very important for connecting with their ancestors. Hence, they hardly trade their access to ancestors for money. If they sell you a plot and there is a grave of a family member in that plot. You are in serious trouble cause whenever they need to connect with him/her they will come back to perfom a ritual.
I would prefer to buy land than a village where people do have graves of their relatives. I wouldn’t want that myself. It’s our culture to protect them!
I am so happy you posted the video l was communicating with the colleague of mine who stayed here and mentioned that currently there is no land available.

Wow!!!! this is a very beautiful area with a sea view, I Know this area it is under Mandeni Municipality, it's very beautiful and it is good for agriculture ,the area is very fertile.
