  • Previously, Venda was a Bantustan ( a black Homeland) in the Northern South Africa which later became a homeland in South Africa and situated in the Limpopo Province of South Africa. Black people in this part of South Africa have been independent of Western influences and have established and developed the homestead and their infrastructure under strict rules and norms that everyone in this part of South Africa adhere. To Venda People, education is important and hard work is a norm. Their villages are very well developed and kept. On this video we explore the development that has taken place in Rural areas in Venda. I brought in a local Architect by the name of Nthumeni who gave me a clear narrative of what they mean by development in rural Venda. He is very knowledgeable. See details below if you need to contact any business person I have mentioned on this video:

    Vendas are united and smart. Remember they are the first black community to have their own bank named VBS, and the enemy of progress which is politics destroyed the beautiful growing idea. I'm super proud of Venda Nation. They bake their own bricks being sold at R1 per brick. There's no hunger in Venda. A total respect to them for teaching africa that you don't need politicians to do something great as communities. UNITED WE ARCHIVE MUCH.

      @@VelileLifestyleDecorTV yup it’s envy I’ve noted…didn’t think it was a thing as so many are hosted here but I’ve noted on net that they are really triggered by how quickly Black SAns are rising in their country which is generally more developed than any country on continent

    • @thandisilec835
      @thandisilec835 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@imzulu635 ok I love South Africa and I’ll always speak facts on this country but let’s not be arrogant or dishonest …SA needs more development than this government is currently investing in, especially with the growing urban squalor I’m seeing. We need more free& more affordable houses for the urban poor & low income earners to be built instead of the shacks everywhere. So we are not the best in Africa and that’s no prize either as the bar is really low on the continent. SA definitely has better developed infrastructure currently than many places on continent but other countries are developing fast and investing so you can’t say we will “always be best” either. Let’s stay humble unless someone tries to mistake our humility for being stupid then let them know, is all I’m saying. I honestly say this not wanting to start an argument

    I’d be also interested that you interview the Black SA business owners of Limpopo rural towns as you said the businesses there are 100% Black SA owned. Also can we get you to visit a Black owned farm or 2 where they use the land to farm commercially…that’d be interesting. Even if it’s on your next trip. I general think we need to see more the rural Black business ownership and the owners behind the business on your channel as you visit new rural villages and revisit others, need a focused business angle. Love the house build and rural residential development content though so don’t lose it but a bit more balance with locally owned rural business development. The houses in Limpopo are just beautiful and I’m shocked how big the they are, like castles😍
    One thing I’d hope though but don’t think Limpopo people will allow it, is that with people now getting ownership of their tribal land, they don’t sell too quickly to outsiders as the province is clearly fast developing and if they sell too early, they won’t reap the benefits of their sweat to develop and others will benefit without having put in the work. Also I’d like Black SAns to hold on to their land, the land is the prize. Houses are great assets but true value and legacy is in the land

    • @dokotelam7207
      @dokotelam7207 2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      I don't think they will sell those houses, if they sell them, then where they will go ?, I think for many is their only home,I live in rural Limpopo, but ownership is confusing in sense that even when you live in tribal land it doesn't mean you can't sell that property, you can sell it if you want however many of them is their only home, they don't have another choice, titled deed is more of sense of pride of ownership but it does not change a single thing in many people lives

    • @Shudufhadzo
      @Shudufhadzo 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      That's not true my brother. Like people from the Eastern Cape, Venda people are all over SA, especially Gauteng trying to earn a living. The difference is that side people leave rural areas for suburbia when they make it. This side people build retirement homes for when they are done working. Those who choose to buy homes in the suburbs still build homes for those left behind.

    • @rainbowtrust6347
      @rainbowtrust6347 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Shudufhadzo that's right all Limpompians, KZN, North West people have most beautiful rural villages in SA. They don't abundant their lands for cities. They work hard in cities to build their home lands. And use and plough their fields with crops, fruit and vegetables, serious agriculture and they have poultry for eggs, cows for milk and sheep and goats and still run businesses with what they produce. Gauteng people have no lands but extend their houses and their townships are smart and clean. Gauteng people hate shacks. In some most places you won't recognize the RDPs because they turn them into beautiful proper smart houses. And they also build in their home rurals of origin. Western Cape hate shacks. Eastern Cape desert their rural homes, families, and let that province fall apart and is the worst dirtiest province in SA eg uMthata, Butterworth etc. They buy houses in cities and fill city of CPT with lots of ragged shacks. I'm sorry to say this, Eastern Cape since whites left the beautiful place, Xhosas neglect the place and run to Cape Town, and they don't even think about renovating those houses and buildings. Every thing in most E Cape places, is falling apart and education system to local government. Every thing seems nobody cares for the law or respect anything. Eastern Cape could be a beautiful place to live if it can be given to Gauteng people in exchange. Eastern Cape is rich for agriculture just like Venda. And is the 2nd biggest province after Northern Cape. And E Cape has less population and is less visited province by outsiders or foreigners. Eastern Cape are depending and waiting for government on everything. They are not eager enough and their government don't care about anything in that province. The ministers don't love their people or their work. But there are those who love themselves and build their homes in rurals and make their lands something to be proud of. Despite their problems, they are very talented and they take education very seriously and they are quiet learned people. I love them and I wish they can love that beautiful province and improve it honestly.
