When it's her turn she doesn't do the rule, and when her turn is done and it's the next person's turn, she suddenly sticks to the rule and dares to say "someone's better pass me"? Biggest scumbag in the game. Then the stupidity of it all was how naive the rest of the players were. When Mei tried to eliminate her they all went against Mei for making that decision. Over that, she was forcing the man's honor to keep jumping in her place to avoid affect the team. Everything surrounding player 278 just annoys me. Too many things played into it, its the way she did such a greedy thing. Everyone ignored that it happened and then 'distrusts' Mai for doing it. From the beginning it was obvious that this was not going to be a fair game. With lots of tests and games that get you eliminated by chance or out of your control ig. (Aka getting out via the boats in warship. Or at the roll of a dice.) So the way that the contestants were trying so hard to implement this fairness in the finals, in the end meant nothing and fell apart at the Circle of trust. I feel thats the only thing players like 278, 432 and 161 got right. They understood only 1 can win and werent to fond of making any friends here. Although this game wasnt made to be 'fair' and the main focus is the 4mil prize. You are not going to win with a stinky attitude like that. Not that you are required to trust the people that are actively competing against, but to be humble and at least decent to be around you know what I'm saying? Anyways, just a piece of my thoughts on what went down. Treat people better, don't start flaming someone for crying, starting beef with someone over sliced apples and acting like an angel then gaslighting someone instead of owning up to your actions. One way ticket to your elimination🙌

Ashley can do what she wants, but as pointed out in the video it's this bizarre u-turn she has. Even in her interview commentary she says she ain't moving. Yet as soon as Trey is gone, she just....goes with the plan? If she had a specific beef with Trey it would make sense but she doesn't. She just threw him under the bus for no good reason. What really grinds my gears though is in the game that follows, everybody except 287 has amnesia about the event as if she's being gas lit. Even in the interviews where they can speak freely, everyone is genuinely appalled at 287 for putting Ashley at risk. Was Mai really the only one who paid attention? I don't know if there's something funky with the edit because it feels like it doesn't quite make sense. Admittedly Trey wasn't the most communicative about the situation as it happened, but he was not the only person to notice...was he? It's so confusing!

No it’s not confusing. The truth is, society has been brainwashed to stand up against black people playing the victim card. They feel they don’t want to look like “racist” in front of the world and it’s working. All cultures have been brainwashed to believe they are privileged and are bad. Which is not true. The real racist are people like 278. They play the victim card. This is a wake up call. This is happening out here in the real world, it just got magnified in the game. It’s time for all cultures to stand up against all “278’s” There’s many out here doing the same thing in our society. Mai stood up against it, it’s time everyone does too. The comments on this thread show that one knows right from wrong. Now it’s time to stand up against nonsense when it presents itself.

278 simply did not honor the team effort deal she benefited from and survived the glass bridge solely with. If she disagreed with the deal and were consistent, she should have kept jumping until she dropped and loose. Just like in the scripted original SquidGame.
Only needed to do one 50/50 chances jump were in exchange of honoring everyone doing the same before you.
She did not. It’s simple as that. And that makes her an a*hole. That everbody in the next challenge should have called out, not only Mai. And after Ashley 278 were out and charma restored. After then the other players can go back to keep the game honorable again towards everyone and each other.

There was no agreement, it’s giving Drag Race Allstars where they convinced themselves that they all agreed to a set guideline on how to eliminate when that wasn’t the case. Happy to see that 179, Amanda and Ashley gone. Happy to see all those I don't like not making to the final. Some of the players were saying that 179 and Ashley were nice but 179 looked so arrogant and Trey who actually made 2 correct guesses out of 3 had to loss all because of Ashley's selfishness. Amanda was also annoying for expecting women to choose women because it was up to everyone to choose whom they trust, regardless of gender. The guy who chose umbrella and kept vomiting was annoying as well. By the way, I think some people overreacted, especially at the early stage. Those who were unable to decide on the shapes or what kind of marble game they would play were just stupid because having to choose a difficult game never mean immediate failure.

Her decision on the glass bridge was completely illogical. I understand that it’s a game that you play for yourself competitvely but even so she was number 4. If she played the way everyone suggested she only has to take 1 jump, but she left herself in a position where she would have to take many more jumps, or change her mind and go with the agreement. She just needlessly sacrificed Trey and then expected nobody to do the same to her.

Not only was Ashley not sticking to the plan evil, it was also objectively stupid. By breaking the string of good faith teamwork, there's a high chance (and frankly I'm SHOCKED it didn't happen) that the other team members would've made her go until she got eliminated just like she did to Trey. HOW did she not compute that?! Either a 50/50 shot of survival with a number she'd've been completely dead with if they were playing by the original game, or else practically zero chance. Make it make sense.

A lot of people here have already said what I'm going to say. 278 was fine to disagree with the plan if she wanted to on the glass bridge. But then, yes, for forcing him to move ahead because she was unwilling to take the risk until forced was dirty. Then she tells other people to go for her is cowardly. I would have stood there and said "no, he made his jump and then you stood there until you had no choice. You can keep going until you fail." Then she had the audacity to lie to everyone about her character vs. The other for choosing her in dice. Here's the real problem in the dice roll, 278 said they had the same integrity as everyone else but she again went against the groups plan and tried to force someone out. Then like everyone else was saying in here, the whole group just deleted all that info within moments from their brains. They were all like oh how dare she for going after my "best friend". These people are not your friends, you honestly don't know them, and it's a competition game. A game where manipulation and treachery move you forward. So if 278 owned that, she would get more respect. But she was trying to convince people that's not what she did, when it was plain as a clear day.

i wish trey would have just hung on to the bars when he fell.
they should also do a more traditional squid game competition but with a lot more money (something close to $38M USD like in the actual show); where they fire paintball guns, or smaller/weaker rubber rounds where the players have to wear protective gear…up there and down there🤣(vests, masks, cans, pads) - to add some adrenaline and norepinephrine for a little bit of real feel of the squid game.
plus have everything be super enigmatic, ambient and just more authentic to the original in general (but have proper medical tools and paramedics on the set just out of site of the location where all the games happen, just to be safe…oh…and waivers of course!💀).
i think it would be pretty dope and exhilarating.
